Well on one hand, it's not like the console versions are ever going to look great anyways (in comparison to the 2013 preview builds). The console versions were concealed until last year, so PS4 owners hasn't really lost anything.
For PC owners, welp... yeah, looks like the last crusader of PC gaming has also gone down the pipes.

QUOTE(ps3 fanboy @ May 15 2015, 04:38 PM) first day patch again maybe for pirate protection The game is already DRM free lol. What pirate protection? Review code has a patch applied, retail release will have the day 1 patch. I don't know why people still continue to post IGN and Polygon reviews.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ May 22 2015, 05:12 PM) Crafting item shud i keep or sell? Those leather scraps, bla bla.. You have to make that choice on your own. Honestly I keep them because the later tier of armors and weapons requires so many of these basic items that they are a ripoff to buy from merchants. But then again I'm already in Vizima and I'm still using the default armor. Quen sign ftw. Stronger armors are not needed.

Seriously I don't recommend using the gold exploit, it really screws up the experience big time. It was there in Witcher 1, it was there in Witcher 2. I've did it twice and it really did no good to enjoy the game entirely. Remember, you're a witcher, NOT a noble. Suppose to be poor.
At this point I feel like CDPR is just leaving all these gold exploits in the game just because... if someone gets stuck then they can somehow overpower everything just by buying better eqs.

QUOTE(izzat0amir @ May 24 2015, 12:21 PM) anyone else experiencing a slight fps drop when it rains? well not just when it is raining.. its almost everytime when i cast igni, WTF?! i really can tell the drops cause i come from 60fps masterrace, even 30fps cap i can feel the lagginess.. the fps drop really bothers me and turn me off into continueing to play the game.. i hope there will be patch soon or im going to sell this copy. or trade for pc version as i mainly game on my desktop, reason i buy this game on ps4 only because i long time no touch my ps4 since bloodborne lol. yeah2 inb4, gameplay > framerate. BUT HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO ENJOY THE GAME WHEN IT LAGS?! i dont mind the fps cap to 30, but when it drops, im all mad bro. There will be a patch for the PS4 version next week. While I doubt it will deliver that solid 30fps experience, it should improve some of the performance marginally. TBH, Witcher has always been a PC title. Understandable that console versions need to exist due to sales, but yeah... you should have played it on the PC.

Some of those books actually has quests in them. Don't just simply drop it before reading.

QUOTE(neo_lam @ May 27 2015, 05:46 PM) in order for ps4 version to run smoother...either run on a plasma tv or LED tv that on the dejudder effect....but this effect will create some fake feelings on the animation... ...and also a one shot way to increase input lag into a dimension that is deem unplayable. Please never advise people to enable motion interpolation for games.

QUOTE(kabuto rider kick @ May 29 2015, 07:36 PM) If can get with cheaper budget then all the better, but I just checked Arkham Knight Ultra requirements needs gtx980,wow If playing on 1080p, a single 980 (overclocked fairly high) can play Witcher 3 at 1080p/60 locked with HairWorks enabled (with HairWorks MSAA down to 4x). You don't need 8k budget really. If you want to know more, go to the PC thread for the Witcher 3 or PM me, otherwise people gonna call you pcmasterrace show-off.

QUOTE(WickyWeeky @ Jun 4 2015, 04:11 PM) Respec my abilities and tried alchemy.. Not bad. Duration of potions and decoction increase. Also, the damage and resistance dmg when using blade oil increase as well. Yes alchemy-offense build is actually pretty damn good. The only problem is that it is a damn hassle to use, since we can only set 2 potions as hotkeys to the D-pad. Having to change the oil-type on the blade every damn time before a different fight is also annoying as heck, made worse when the inventory system is so clunky. Witcher 2 actually had a better inventory system ffs.
