So far the first 2 hours is quite sterile. The motivation to progress is sorely lacking... unsure.gif
Still waiting for that sweet spot to happen when gameplay and story matters.

A little behind on the game as I still go back to Bloodborne for weird reasons. The only thing that peaks my interest is the chance to play as Ciri. She's like a grown up Arya Stark. biggrin.gif
While the writings are good in the game, but a little too repetitive and leveling is like a slowpoke tortoise. sad.gif

Finished the game and too lazy to go for side quests. There's a sorta game imbalance during the later story arcs. I manage to level from 26 to 33 just by completing the 2 last chapter quests. Felt like an idiot to put so much effort on side quests that are pathetic in rewarding you.
Could be an isolated case, Geralt fight with Caranthir framerates drops to slow motion bad.
Overall still felt the game's high appraisal score by critics a little overhyped. Really like the witty banters and prickish overtones of the character's personality. On a whole the main plotline felt disjointed and goes to fantasy cliche tropes a lot.
I would welcome any further adventures of Ciri but not motivated to plat this game knowing what a tedious endeavor that gonna be.

Practice with traders before take on gwent quest. Buy any gwent cards available from innkeeper, traders, blacksmith,etc...Usually you are rewarded with a card upon beating an opponent.
As you take on gwent quest you will able to earn special cards.
Not all engagements need to be complete in two rounds. Sacrifice one round to bait opponents to play their cards so you can play your stronger winning hand in the last round. That's just me.
