u need to update ur game to v1.01 first before u can use the DLC

as long as both your R1 and R3 activate as main.....
for DLC....you need to download base on your game region....

i screwed the pass mission in Velen. How to go about it? Any other way to get it?

The mission where you can buy the pass for 100g or help his bro.(which I failed)
I tried to act arrogant and that fella asked me to buy at novigrad instead

i too failed this quest. but there is another quest to get the pass, just ask one of the soldier in the same area, he will ask you to investigate some matter, when you finish, he will give you the pass which you can use to both novigad and oxfort gate.

but without the pass, you can also swim cross the bridge anyway:)

- Bloody Baron will give you a pass when completing his side quest.

- The captain at the gate have witcher contract from him, completing it will grant you a pass.

i am playing death macth, it was very tough at the beginning because i can only rely on eating food to slowly recover my hp, but after learning quen 2nd level, no more food or potion needed, just cast it and let enemy attack you to restore health.

non stop doing side quest with triss....wanna tackle her first b4 proceed the main quest....Velen is hell big map and lotsa place to discover.....

bought a saddlebag and increase the weight....no scare of overburdened anymore..

When starting play it feels like very hard to level, now I ended up higher level than main quest lol. Trying to balance side quests and main quests now so I don't overlevel too much.

the failed quest is it the guy ask us to protect his friend right? i successful on this and got discount on the pass.....

Can also use Axii to get discount from the guy that sell pass lol
For the protect his brother in law quest, you need to rush to where the necrophage spawn and fight there, because the NPC is an idiot and will get himself kill if you fight near him lol

what i did is just stand there and wait them spawn...the direction they coming is fixed with facing the forest...so its quite fast to settle them....

lol gold is very precious in this game...i spend some time on collecting loot and sell it to earn.....
i still very stingy to pay the boat to skellige.....lol

latest patch & free dlc haven’t been released on Asia PSN yet. in the W3 forum, there is a thread about it & CDPR is aware of the issue.

Hmmm but later on you don't use gold much though and I now have like over 20k and don't even use it much. Just completed the main quests and Yen quests in Skellige.
Some of the conversation with Yen quite funny, sometimes you can talk to her again after you ask about quests stuff and it turns in to some conversations.

ur main quest is it after killing the wild hunt and watch the ending scene?
after these still can proceed on main quest....?

how you level up so fast? i am at 13lvl, still need one more 1lvl to equip advanced grifin swords and 2lvl to wear the advanced grifin amor...
