lol no we don't have blacksmith talent, we need others to craft. We can only craft alchemy stuff. So you pretty much just need to find higher lvl blacksmith/armorer to help craft your stuff.

But I dunno why, blacksmith and armorer icon doesn't appear on the map even though you been to them before, you had to get near their place only they appear. Pretty annoying when you want to find one and forget where they are.

Hmm didn't encounter that before. There was one armorer in one of the small village that I can't talk to anymore after I made some quests progress, not sure if bug or just part of the game.

For wraith type always use Yrden, specter oil, try to keep Jenny inside the trap so that you can hit it. Having Quen up helps too.

It doesn't trap it inside, you need to move in away to keep it inside, it prevent the wraith from turning immaterial.

When starting play it feels like very hard to level, now I ended up higher level than main quest lol. Trying to balance side quests and main quests now so I don't overlevel too much.

Can also use Axii to get discount from the guy that sell pass lol
For the protect his brother in law quest, you need to rush to where the necrophage spawn and fight there, because the NPC is an idiot and will get himself kill if you fight near him lol

Hmmm but later on you don't use gold much though and I now have like over 20k and don't even use it much. Just completed the main quests and Yen quests in Skellige.
Some of the conversation with Yen quite funny, sometimes you can talk to her again after you ask about quests stuff and it turns in to some conversations.

Nah I am still on find Ciri quest. Apparently there is warning when you reach the point of no return in main quest, but since I am not there yet, can't confirm on this.

Explore, explore and explore more, I did a lot of the "?' location and also sometimes when exploring you can stumble into random quests, witcher contract, etc.

There were complain that the 1.03 patch cause more frame rate issue on ps4, graphic isn't as good anymore among other things.
My experience with patch 1.03 is that, I don't feel any difference between 1.01 and 1.03.

Reason I did side quest wasn't to level, it's because some of them have interesting story, that's my reward for doing side quests. Don't really care much about the gold or gears that quests give, since I have like almost all the witcher's school gears diagram except for a few of the upgrades that are beyond my level.

When i started to play I keep wanting to get higher level but after a while I don't really care about leveling but more on exploring, the side quest and main quest stories

Feline is light, Griffin is medium and Bear is heavy but Feline weight is actually higher than Griffin haha.
You will have to see the stats for those armor though, each one have different sets of stats. But the simple version is Feline is for attack power + stamina regen, Griffin is for signs, Bear is for protection and alchemy.

I went and fight a lvl 27 golems at lvl 21 just to get the diagram for superior feline armor set, I already got the diagram for the swords. Took me 13m to kill the bugger since I am not doing that high damage to it.

White Orchard cemetery, go there and use Witcher sense, you should see some hints on what you need to do next.

Haha it was a fun fight, I actually had to repair my silver sword midway lol. They are not hard though just time consuming, I use Quen and 2 type of decoction, the rest is pretty much hit and dodging it's attack, Quen helps just in-case I derp and dodge wrongly.

I got both superior sword when I stumble into it while exploring

I got the elementa oil up to superior, forgot where I got the base though. It's either from some merchant or treasure chest.

I was using Ekimmara + Katakan (not sure on the second one cause sometimes I use some other decoction)

Ekimmara is a life steal, damage done will restore health, Katakan increase crit chance. Some decoction are really useful, but it's also depends on your build. Apparently Ekhidna + whirl skill is pretty OP, Ekhidna restore hp when you use anything that uses stamina

It seems that you will be able to do most of the side quest, though some do get locked, mostly those that are story related I guess. Couldn't find much info beside that.

Yeah you can't redo failed quest, most of the time is when you have multiple path you can take to obtain the same result, completing one will fail the other since you already got your result. Also I read that progressing story line can fail some quests though I haven't encounter this yet.

The alchemy one I am guessing it's the girl that was attack by the Griffin that you needed to kill, lets just say it didn't end well for the girl even if you completed the quest.
