2channel amp has two output for two drivers... while 4 channel got 4 output for 4 drivers...
regarding the power output.. that one you will hav to look at the specs... different spec different power lo... look for the W rms value... ie. 40Wrms x 4 means there are 4 channel in total... and each channel is pumping 40w rms...
hope this helps...
cheers...

its not about power dude.... the difference is how much speakers the amp is meant to power.. 2 channel amp is for 2 speakers... meaning 1 channel per speaker (one speaker only.. not one pair or u can say for only 1 side speaker ). and 4 channel amp is for 4 speakers. thats basically it

Monoblock only use for woofer only... If you use it for you component... Hoho.. .no vocal..maybe will break ur component... 2/4 channel amp.. normaly use for component speaker or coxial speaker but it can bridge to power up woofer. However it push woofer not as good as monoblok la.. But I saw people use 2 monoblok as stereo amp loh...

w and rms
u guys got it wrong
w is the power measure standard
while there's also max power , music power, peak power or root mean square power etc etc
normally those cap ayam ( include Sony, yes...Sony) tend to use the max/peak power rating to confuse the consumer to think the the amp is SO powerful
but in ICE we only can use up the power of RMS so dun just blindly see the amp labelled 1000w means it's a good amp

w , or watt, is a unit to measure power,
RMS, Root mean square , is a number like average number but it is calculated in a different way..
another term u will notice is PMPO, which is Peak Music Power Output/Peak Momentary Power Output..
for example, 2600 watt pmpo, 200 watt RMS..
DUN EVER CONFUSE PMPO with RMS..
PMPO, as u can read up there..it is a PEAK, which means it is the highest power, but for a very short length of time...
while RMS, provides u the average power output..
so..look for RMS, dun confuse with PMPO..that is a very old trick..
