That's actually Jalan Paip near Kg.Budiman. Nice!  thumbup.gif When I was still riding foldies, I always wanted to ride there but never did but when I switch to mountain bike, me and wife did ride there but in the palm oil plantations around there. Ironic huh? Actually joined the Bike Hash. You know somewhere there, atop a hill around some pineapple plantations ( Yes, there are pineapple plantation around there) there a shop or a 'warong' that serves fantastic pineapple juice.  rclxms.gif
*
Yeap. The warong u mentioned located on top of the hill kn? The infamous bukit ramlee route if am not mistaken. Ettige, which one more tougher, this route or perez-titi? I heard it is dragonback too?

I think Perez is tougher as it goes up and up and up and only return is down and down and then back to Sungai Lui another 10 km flats. Dragon backs are easier for me because if I don't brake going down, I can harness the energy to go up the next hill, at least half before I start to use energy to reach the apex and it goes on. Genting Sempah is steeper but shorter and it is also going up and up until the top. Master all these and Fraser's Hill is easy nod.gif
*
Really huh...i used to do batu18-perez only. Scared to continue to Titi. Yeap..fraser hills is my target now smile.gif

Once again many thanks for the input !!  i think azamu have Speed P8. Alright so forget about Java now.
Speed P8 is even cheaper compare to Vigor and MU. If performance is the concern as i got fren with RB will ride together 95% will be just flat road.

between speed Vigor MU which should i take ? 3 also i like the design lol. Just which one worth for the bucks and easy upgrade later.

I think you provide upgrade service right ?
Thanks  rclxms.gif

I think the mentioned Speed p8 above is the older version of Speed p8 (2011) not the latest one (2015). Older version is hard to get nowadays.
Again as just what ettigue said, its all depend on ur priority. If u want performance, i think vigor enuf edy. (9speeds drivetrain). Then train ur leg with ur RB friend.

Ok... I'll try to find out more about sg lui. Thanks

GP's road is good for family outing. Nice road and awesome scenery. U will ride along side the Langat river on ur right. Light traffic on the weekend.

However, be prepare for unbearable stench coming from livestock farm right before the deadman's climb. Have fun.

Dahon and tern are bapak and anak company sctually. Thats why some of their body paterns are a bit similar with each other. If dahon, try to get the below 2011 models. As for my opinion, the latest dahon is not that 'good' (spects n components) thats why they can reduce their prices.

As for tern, based on your budget go for mid-range model. It is 'good' enuf for taman ride or any fun ride. I used to ride Dahon Speed for two years (until it was stolen) and currently riding a Tern. Not so much differenxe actually. Its all depend on your preferences. Happy hunting

How to beat road bike / mountain bike using folding bike with same gear? Izit I have to double up my cadence, smoother gear shift or corner faster than them?  Bigger wheel is an advantage for them
*
Its all depend on your 'engine' bro. Train your leg harder. I saw many foldies can actually beat RB/MTB during a 20-40km fun rides. Some of them even have this 'child seat' attached to their folding bicycle can selamba smoke our fellow RBs. A 8-years-old kid can climb genting perez just using his java decaf without pushing. (And u know how gruesome genting perez is for newbies). No pain no gain, my friend smile.gif

If you have to choose between dahon vigor p9 and tern link n8,
Which one would you choose?

Price wise more or less the same. I just need to justify which one is better.

I dont know much about bike though.
