Hi all Shifu,

i am planning to get a foldie for a good ride.... but been going through some bicycle shops and they recommend me:

Dahon Vigor P9, Xds AFB660 or AFB710 (not sure). But after go through some replies from you all i saw some say Trinx Ka2016D is good.

May i know whats the comparison like for the above 3 models?

I find the Xds folding is very neat and save space.

It cost me around RM1,500.00 while Dahon Vigor P9 are very costly at RM2,175.00.

How much is Trinx ka2016d? I saw some mentioned around RM1,000.00 (which i find it economical), but most important is hows the performance?

Appreciate if i can get some feedback and advise from shifu here. Sincerely don't hope to make the wrong decision.

I don't have special outfits for cycling but I usually wear dryfit Ts and Columbia's hiking pants when I ride. Even if it rains , it will dry off in less than 30 minutes with continuous riding.  Also I have those hiking sandals which dries off fast too. But nowadays, I can't wear these sandals when mountain biking because on offroad, bits of mud and sands gets into the shoes. But I guess riding on tarmac should be OK. Those watershoes by Adidas or Nike also are OK since they dries off fast.

The one above is quite expensive but you can get similar kinds from Direct Sports under their Karrimor brand. Just as good and comfy in fact. I have one size 43 (very new). Anyone interested, can let you have for 50 bucks.  laugh.gif

Hi,
The track is about 10.5km. Normally I will
park my car at the free car park near to Millennium Monument.
The route as shown in the map is pretty flat,
You also able to find a small hill along the track,
which is not bad for a short uphill training.
Most of the road surface is pretty good except some
sections might be too bumpy for racing tires.

You may try strava. I like this apps because it can detect people who is riding on the same route.
