QUOTE(lightning69 @ Apr 24 2015, 10:46 AM) i bought 1 folding bike from Taobao before. Cheap but not very good. Look like UGO is the best choice at that range. I have a UGO before. UGO better than those from China and at RM750 is very good. after considering the cost of shipping, it might be costly to ship from taobao. DA2007D trinx RM699+- also around that area. |

QUOTE(H2D @ Jun 15 2015, 02:50 PM) if using 65daigou, the cost of shipping is same to msia or sg , just that the bike value must be below SGD400 so that i wont kena GST.QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jun 15 2015, 02:53 PM) I m not sure about branded bike but over here does not have raleigh ugo, tinx ka2016d . local brand alu folding also need SGD398 |

QUOTE(etigge @ Jul 3 2015, 03:07 AM) Depends on which model. Sora groupset is not expensive. Furthermore, the most expensive component of the road bike group set is the brifters (shifter and brake levers) and most probably the said Sora don't use one. You can easily get a Dahon Route or a Dahon Boardwalk and change to 9 speed with the same amount of money used to ship one in. In fact some components could be better and another few hundred can get 18 speed already. How much is the shipping charges anyway? The one I mention is the one with fnhon ka2018 frame, Once I wanted to order the Dahon Cheetah (same as Dash) frame and they quoted RM400 just to ship in. Shimano avid brake, shimano m4000 9speed. Subrace 11-32t . I still waiting reply from 65daigou. I estimate 15kg volumetric weight. Shipping charge I estimate around 150 if use the sea option.8-14 days shipped to singapore. How abt dahon bullet? 6speed . 1300rmb only. |

Review on my Trinx after 2 week
Pros : build is sturdy : no squeky sound : value for money Cons : not really compact after fold. Cant complain much it is not a brompton : hard to navigate after it is fold.(in the end use hand to carry ) : whole bike is heavy, i believe is 13kg some picture spam.. my trinx ka2024 macam using 110mm BCD front crank.
Now it max out 50T at the largest crank. Any choices of 110mm front crank? i see litepro most is 130mm This post has been edited by fcuk90: Jul 29 2015, 11:09 PM |

QUOTE(desastar @ Jul 30 2015, 06:56 AM) Probably something like this? 53T Saw this too on taobao , saw some FSA 53T chainring 110mm bcd, but kinda pricy 5xx RMB.Bought one recently from Aliexpress. OK, you pay for what you get. [attachmentid=4667347][attachmentid=4667347] QUOTE(etigge @ Jul 30 2015, 08:42 AM) Kinda weird QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Jul 30 2015, 12:30 PM) if im not mistaken i saw my friend trinx it is triple chainring compact crank.the biggest one is 50t QUOTE(etigge @ Jul 30 2015, 02:04 PM) Yes, I checked the specs, it's 30T, 40T and 50T with 110 BCD. Usually most brands max at 50T for 110s. A few bigger brands like Sugino do make 52s and 54s but withthe price for these chainrings, you can get a complete Shimano 2 series hollowtech 53/39T 130 BCD brand new. Thanks for the replies guys, just curious as tried out 53T litepro on Crius master V. |

Pic spam. Lamborgini folding bike.
Anyway, what's to upgrade for trinx 1606 to keep up with my 20inch ka2024 folding bike on flat casual ride? 6speed to 7speed freewheel? I think the trinx 6speed smallest is 14t Last week try pedal 50t'/11t on flat.. manage to follow Tyrell fx but , leg damn lenguh after that.. look like I will not upgeade the front chainring in a short period, need train leg on 50t first before proceed to more larger size. Lol This post has been edited by fcuk90: Aug 8 2015, 11:34 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Aug 8 2015, 12:53 PM) we here in ipoh modded the trinx 1606 at least with 53t crank and get 13-28 8speed cogset.. Yeah . Saw your mods list previously. me on the other hand, upgrade my fnhon wannabe cosmetic clone (previously known as trinx 1606) with fsa 55/44 crank.change the hub so i can put 11-25 8 speed casette to it.and i had pedalled 35kmh before tailing a 29er mtb on the road hahhaha i dont like discbrake instead maybe can get eclipse p18 instead? But what the BCD size for the crank ? 130? How about the hub size?it is 74mm front and 130mm back? Noted there some creaky sound from the bike(1606) also. What mostly caused the creaky sound ya? Which parts should I inspect first, the folding joint of the frame? |

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Aug 8 2015, 09:23 PM) mine is 130bcd.the crank is originally from my tern verge p9 Thanks for your valuable info.anyway,my hub brand is novatech.common mtb discbrake hub.i have to force open a bit at the end and the front fork with special tools.i didnt buy the hub, instead i got it cheap long time ago from my friend when he upgrading his mtb if u had a choice, maybe can oder novatech hub without the disc hole.i think the price is below rm350 if i can recall it correct. creeky sound?check all the joint 1st, 2ndly the handlepost and headset.and for your info, the original trinx ka1606 seatpost if im not mistaken is 30.9mm.but im using the common 33.9 seat post.just remove the shrinking tube adapter.. |
