QUOTE(etigge @ Dec 21 2014, 04:37 PM) A fellow forummer brought his Dahon Vybe for moddings. Initially wanted to mod the front first but later I found out that the 7 speed Neos cannot take the slack of the chain when we choose 39T and 13T at the rear. I replaced it with an 8 speed unit and also it cannot handle it so change the hangers as well and I installed an old Sora RD I had in my drawer. So, those who wants to upgrade, you need to upgrade the rear first or upgrade together. Would like to upgrade my vybe c7a as well, sifu etigge, UGPM!! |

QUOTE(etigge @ Jan 28 2015, 10:43 AM) The new Dahon Dash 2015 specs are not very good and the price RRP is RM2998 which is way higher than last time. It uses Microshift RDs so the RD can just switch and the shifters can just be added onto the bull horn. The bullhorn that my wife's Performer is a Zipp replica(carbon fiber) and it cost me RM260 and the bar tape another RM100. Roadbike components are really expensive. The shifters are ven more expensive, a 10 speed Tiagra is almost RM400 , Shimano 105 RM600 and the Ultegra RM800 to sometimes RM1000 depending on the seller. Nobody "taunt" you, I just pulled off from our deal and you were ok with it. A couple of hours later you counter offer me again, that's why I was trying to "explain" to you why I would like to cancel it, I repeat, I was just telling you my thought. I DID NOT ask you to lower down the price anymore, isn't it? I totally understand the spec + accessories you included, that's why I did not nego further. But I have my own will to purchase what I like right? In fact I don't even have to explain to you what I was thinking, but since you counter offer, I just sharing with you why I change my mind, to show that I am not someone simply FFK.That's why many new riders don't understand why I am selling mine for RM4000 but has since went down to RM3500. Some even taunt me telling me that if he adds RM1700 for the 105 groupset + new bike RM3000 it is only RM4700 compared to an old Dash for RM3500. But he did not add in the superior and lighter rims, the Schwalbes, the Fizik bar grips, SR saddles, the QR pedals which might add up to another RM1000. The cheapest 10 speed roadie components are the Shimano Tiagras and the SRAM Apex in which the Apex is priced higher but lower performance. Yes, I am the one who "taunt" you on whatsapp. You have the right to "advertise" your sell, but don't simply say something which is NOT TRUE. |

QUOTE(PaulKong @ Sep 26 2015, 09:14 AM) Good morning! I live nearby, the route along persiaran surian is not suitable for riding now, full with MRT construction, car also hard to pass by I'm started to chart some route in tropicana -Kota Damansara - Ara Damansara. Anyone have better route that I can take around this area. Here's my map in strava. And of course a picture of my latest possession 😍😍😍 So I usually ride between ara damansara <-> tropicana, can't find a good route go all the way up to kota damansara. |
