QUOTE(PaulKong @ Oct 1 2015, 07:56 PM) Good article for diy the fender. I really like this fender. It looks really neat and cool. The previous owner must have take great details on custom built it. He even follow exactly how the mortop clip design. I lost one of the clip, if I see this diy.. Maybe I just use the wire to stick a hole in the fender. Hahaha Thanks 4 d info guys....shall try diy using some other material 1st....Anyway, I've ask a mechanic to custom made the clip and it cost me RM 70 for two clip π π π |

QUOTE(desastar @ Oct 26 2015, 09:20 PM) You should bring along your 9yr old and do a test fit. Folding bikes do have roughly the same geometry as a full sized bike. You may have to push the saddle forward and the handlebar may be too high, depending on his height. There's a reason why they still make bikes for kids. Hi...just sharing my (10 yrs old )daughter's bike which i mod 4 her 4 comfort n safer handling as i felt she hv to strech out b4 modding it....This post has been edited by frankie chin: Oct 28 2015, 12:28 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Oct 28 2015, 10:41 AM) dahon vybe dont have adjustable height handlepost.thats why u adopt the litepro stem backward. Tks 4 d advise bro....height wise is ok 4 her so far dat y i maintain d handle post....actually its quite nice to ride aft modding it...even my son sometimes dump his mu d8 n rebut w adik...hahaha...if u got budget, try to get dahon adjustable handle post, might help on the height, but still u need that litepro stem to adjust the handle nearer to ur daughter.or try to get the butterfly handle bar with 25.4mm clamp size by d way bro...d bike u inquire till now still no news abt it....but i ll keep u update on it....tq |

QUOTE(desastar @ Oct 28 2015, 01:32 PM) Very good! Width of the handlebar could still pose a problem for kids when turning. Riding bikes meant for adults will always be a compromise. Agree w sifu desastar...d width might pose some problems....i never tot abt it until u notify abt width n sifu azmanunekurone posted his new handle bar ...tks 4 tis valuble info ....i shall observed her awhile n decide... |

QUOTE(faizalmzain @ Nov 4 2015, 11:41 PM) i have settled for vigor p9. Yeah...mine n my kids also same bro....so i bought a velo saddle n try out 1st n it turns out quite comfort w it ..now all 3 bikes saddle using vello saddle...but mayb like sifu said our butt must also break in also....perhaps u give it a try b4 changing it...test ride in putrajaya just now. i haven't ride for ages, in terms of leg should be no problem for 1 hour leisure ride on flat surface but my butt is hurting even after 30 mins. do i need to change more comfortable saddle or wear padded tight for riders? |
