You should have a tire lever and also patches as well. What happens if someone who knows wants to help but neither of you have it?  rclxub.gif  It could be just a passer by who 's not riding or another rider whose tools are with another partner rider. Be prepared is better.

patches where to buy? rclxub.gif

If you don't want to deal with punctures, get a good set of tyres. Definitely not those built for "speed" or light weight.

my bike arrive safely in Sabah altho i sense airport fellas throw here and there. lol
Since UMS bc eco-campus recently, the whole campus is covered with bicycle lane. And quite tough to cycle, hilly areas. Struggling with my 7 spd Ugo. Really cant imagine cycle to my classes. Sure sweat heavily upon reaching.
BUt lots of nice sceneries and beach too. At night saw a lot of bikers on rb cycling around. Was told a lot of bikers came to the campus juz to cycle.

Hi,

Anyone are using schwalbe durano tyres? Is it good? I'd there any other recommendations other than this tyre? I'm looking for 20" 451 tyres
My main concern is comfort and performance in stopping.

i blv when comfort is your main priority, durano is totally out.

Anyone using Raleigh Wrengler?
I am newbie to bike. Wonder how much difference compare to UGO.
My budget is around RM500 for foldie.. So far have been checking Oscar Imagine, Garion G2016-BC.. Have been reading comment about UGO however the price is about RM880.
Hopefully sifu2 here can guide where can get reasonable price. I am at Selangor area.
Thank you.

I see a lot of people use this kind of saddle. Why? Is it comfortable because it looks uncomfortable.  sweat.gif

Hi everyone. Im just starting to venture to the folding bike world. Still looking for my first foldie. My budget is about 1k. The option in my mind is the dahon suv d6, raleigh ugo and xds afb270. My heart was incline to dahon, but the suv d6 frame is hi ten steel,  compare to the other two which is made by alloy. I will use my bike to commute to work(14km one way) which combine flat and hilly routes. I also plan to upgrade my bike parts in the future  especially in adding the gear. Is the dahon entry level bike sufficient? Appreciate if the sifus and members can give me your views on which bike i should buy. I am really excited for this!!

Altho alloy, raleigh ugo is still heavier thn most other foldies sweat.gif

No idea. I had ugo only. I guess suv shud be heavier since it is steel?
