Im really enjoying the S-Pen, when not typing it's feels great to click links on a webpage with precision and is a totally new user experience for me. Have been having fun doodling on photos to the missus as well. Some game like angry birds transformers which require precision targeting to hit objects works great with t pen as well. My only gripe with the S-pen is that the button on t side is not found straight away when want to copy n paste. Need to raba-raba a bit to find it.
Anyone else finding the S-Pen useful?
*
For those who use apps which require precision e.g autocad 360, s pen would be really really useful.

Just notice that this note 4 has disable the sip call setting. This is really a big let down for user like me who use native voip call to call overseas. ( for free brows.gif ). There's a workaround to 'patch' this issue but it make the voip call experience less user friendly.

who's the seller in lyn?
*
brought it online from china website. free shipping too but have to wait approx 21- 30 days for it to arrive. i have a battery kit coming along also. oem 3200mAh battery with NFC function x 2 pcs + portable oem charger for less than rm120. ( basically you can't differentiate with the ori kit ) here's the pic of my order set for reference...

some local seller here claim selling the ORI set with only 1 pc battery but without built in NFC doh.gif

thumbup.gif cheap case not necessary bad too ! as long it serve the purpose of protecting the phone well .... i like this one particularly because the opening for rear camera is slightly protruded out to protect the camera lens.

what's the NFC for?
sorry a stupid question but i don't really understand the purpose of an NFC on a charger kit.
*
NFC = Near Field Communication

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a wireless connectivity technology that enables convenient short-range communication between electronic devices. NFC offers the ultimate in convenience for connecting all types of consumer devices and enables rapid and easy communications.

here's some reading about NFC for your reference:

NFC in Smartphone

Basically im pairing my sony sbh52 with note 4 almost on daily basis when in the car. Nfc does it with ease comparing pairing it with bluetooth manually....it basically just touch and use !

QUOTE(herojack41 @ Dec 30 2014, 03:18 PM)
samsung very smart

build the NFC into the battery together.

NFC is for transfering data with ease....it uses bt as the connection
*
actually it's the nfc's antenna was built into the battery, not the nfc controller chip....without the antenna, nfc is crippled..

here's the note 4 front board....checkout the nfc controller chip there...

found this at lelong.
worth it?
how much did you buy from china site+shipping?

http://www.lelong.com.my/samsung-galaxy-no...7-01-Sale-I.htm
*
worth it or not depends on how you view it.....the one i found cost around usd 7 ( 7 x 3.3 ) = rm23 with free registered shipping to malaysia.

the one you found from lelong cost rm49 + free tempered glass cost rm4, so the different is rm22 after deduct the tempered glass cost. But trade off is that you have to wait around 2-4 week for the item to arrive.

Speaking of memory cards, has anyone tested out the more $$$ ones to see if the improvements in speed (e.g. UHS-1 ones like the Samsung Pro and SanDisk Extreme/Extreme Pro) are actually worth the added cost for smartphone users?

i have both the 64gb samsung pro and the 32gb sandisk ultra. both are class 10 microsd card.

yes, there's a diff in terms of the write speed ( samsung pro - almost double the speed ) but the read speed is more or less the same if i can recall the test I'd done a year plus ago....

You should really try Rock tempered glass.
I'm quite fussy too when it comes to my phone. But no visible halo effect so far with it wink.gif

thanks dear for your feedback. in fact just before your post i did order the exact same cutting of the tempered glass ( oem rock ) from china website to try it out. there's 2 thick available, 0.2mm and 0.3mm and i order both just to try it out. it cost much cheaper ( rm13 for both tempered glass shipped ) as i'm not willing to spend rm40 as you did for the original rock tempered glass yet... hmm.gif

most likely a broken/faulty wacom digitizer...could be caused by a strong magneted case / cheap qi charger ...

here's the follow up of your posted video...

to confirm the faulty digitizer, key in *#0*# in your keypad and do the wacom test.
