Never happen before. Try factory reset it. If you had root and use whatever backup program like titanium backup, make sure never restore system apps.

You should really try Rock tempered glass.
I'm quite fussy too when it comes to my phone. But no visible halo effect so far with it wink.gif

thanks dear for your feedback. in fact just before your post i did order the exact same cutting of the tempered glass ( oem rock ) from china website to try it out. there's 2 thick available, 0.2mm and 0.3mm and i order both just to try it out. it cost much cheaper ( rm13 for both tempered glass shipped ) as i'm not willing to spend rm40 as you did for the original rock tempered glass yet... hmm.gif

Nobody know what you had done. Factory reset is return to factory image where it shouldn't make more FC.

did you root or did something during update?
disable some core system file or interrupted update.
that happen before on my old device because my house blackout and crash the system,
it's because core system/engine file not running good or missing.
if you're still on warranty bring back to samsung center request to reflash stock system or use odin help yourself.

Just installed the R-Just Gundam Case. (credit to Marcus_1104 by the way, one of the best seller I would recommend thumbup.gif )
I must say it gives a bit bulk look on the phone, but the design is nice.
It doesn't block any of entry to the side of the phone, yet it provides whole protection throughout.

There's only a thing I noticed, that the phone could be moved just a bit inside the case.
Might be because of the small gap given to fit the phone in.

Overall the best casing I have so far.

There's almost no gap above the phone.
I'm not sure whether I can put in a tempered glass.
I'll go and ask at Sun Mobile later.

Hey I can even fit my Xperia Z on top of the phone. tongue.gif

Thanks for the replies guys, really appreciate it smile.gif.

When I received the phone, I sync-ed with Google & Samsung, installed Instagram & Waze, then later at night I experienced application crashes. I decided to try factory reset on day 2 and after that, the phone keep on crashing even at the welcome screen. Took the phone to Samsung service center at One Utama today, they tried to flash to old and new firmware but the issue still persists. I was given 2 options, immediate replacement of motherboard OR wait for 1 week for them to send the phone to HQ and get a brand new replacement unit. I opted for option 2 and was given a courtesy phone.

Apparently the person on my right was experiencing the same problem and requested for a new phone too. The person on my left was using the same phone too and his charger was faulty, was given replacement on the spot.

So far OU service center has replaced 4 units of Note 4. Other issues are normally resolved with firmware re-flash.

I somehow regret with my purchase but was very impressed with a lot of new functions on the Note 4. Hopefully the replacement unit can serve me for 2/3 years sweat.gif

Glad you enjoy that bro, and thanks for the compliment, for the tempered glass though, don't worry as i am using one too right now, but make sure you first apply the tempered glass then only put this case on, then it will fit nicely, and if the tempered glass caused any halo effect on it, this will actually helps reduce a bit of the halo as it gave some pressure on all the sides around tempered glass. biggrin.gif
