Guys i test again in the same scenario and i found out the wash out issue has nothing to do with the white balance or warmer condition.its the exposure value.might be something wrong with it,with normal value, the photo wash out but i tune to negative 2, the photo is awesome. Anyone can try also?

Samsung never shows changelogs. Maybe they are too embarrassed at the number of ridiculous bugs they've had to fix.

The camera is still not as smart as our naked eyes which is able to adapt itself to different light source of the full view, so if the camera trying show some details in the shadow, other parts might turn out washed out. While other camera might show a closer color on the spot you are comparing, the shadow/brighter part might show lack of details.

I guess you can try using spot metering, that's more fair if you only look at the color of certain spot but ignoring the details that showing in other part of the photo.

P/s: with the comment above, I'm not saying note 4 camera doesn't has wash out problem, neither I say it does. Just would like to discuss it in open minded way, so please don't flame me : )

Hahaha. The changelog will appear if they add new features. If bug fixes, they just write stability improvements. biggrin.gif

Personally, I think this expectation of fantastic-ness of a smartphone camera is overblown. It has become better over the years for sure, and has largely displaced the point-and-shoot camera segment.

But even comparing to a good point-and-shoot, I don't think a smartphone camera can match its processing and output (yet).

That's my 2 sen.

Front camera tends to washout which means lower the saturation as front camera usually is for selfie or portrait. For selfie unless you like to see your face pimples, wringles moonholes and so on the program usually will soften the skin color and beutify your look.

Back camera wise, i dont have any issue with the white balance or color issue so far as phone wise the quality is one of the top in the phone industry. Unless you really need SLR type quality then forget about to have this phone for capturing quality photos.
