Hey mate,
I have the tix with me and its printed RM20, and I know the organizing ppl, and they've told me at the moment will sell at Rm15 instead of Rm20. But later on, they will make it RM20. So isn't it now Rm15 considered promo price? Unless I've heard it wrongly wrong Andre and Dennis lor.

Wah, T7 is still a digital camera.
QUOTE(ac98 @ Sep 19 2006, 03:21 PM)
Oh that's too harsh ... but I think the worst signage ever produced was "No Photography Allowed" in a place packed with babes tongue.gif

Talk about no photography ... I know this dumbass of a bridal company that hold public bridal shows in shopping complexes that do not allow DSLR users to shoot. Why DSLRs? Let me explain ...

They are at least 1 hour late into their scheduled shows (typical of most Chinaman companies) and they have this shortie Chinese fellow like a tug harassing photographers who tries to shoot their bridals shows, speaks lousy English but can pronounce "F'ck you" perfectly when you ignore him. He is about my shoulder's height and he jumps and blocks your lens. I tried to explain to him the 1st time I encounter him that I am shooting a friend of mine who was the model for the show but he said "No no no nooooooooooo ... you can no shoot, you understand?!". He seemed to block all DSLRs only but never bothered about the compact digicams, phone cameras and even video cams! That was what pissed us most ...

If you encounter these kind of situation, you got 2 choices (and I have seen both) :

1. Ignore the person but you might end up fighting with him becoz I heard he can be very physical at times
2. Walk away and boycott the show
*
True, I agree. Several nice places in gold coast, which I plan to visit next month, have such sign. cry.gif
QUOTE(gold3knight @ Sep 19 2006, 04:38 PM)
3. go up one level
*
True, but I bet the model wont be looking up right? Shoot candid style. biggrin.gif

for panning shot, have to track your subject before releasing the shutter, then follow through until the shutter is closed again.
*
Yaya thats the keyword.. Last time learning, used to stop once I press shutter, end up blur... I fail to use this word to describe to aichiban.

QUOTE(aaron @ Sep 25 2006, 10:02 PM)
haha.....ya..this is what i fail to do...i cant follow the subject and the subject always faster than me...

Adjust ur shutter speed to accomodate. Be patient, try shoot and preview, change shutter till u get the right one at the spot you're panning at. At least I do that lar... thumbup.gif
