If you wanted 50tables and of cos with parking consideration...

Oriental Banquet at Section 19 which have a big empty space front for parking
Oriental Banquet Jalan Bukit Bintang can fit till 60tables also same parking have big space in front

Tai Thong at Bukit Jalil Golf Club, can fit 60 tables parking is free and a lot parking.
Tai Thong at Tropicana Golf Club can fit 60tables parking is free and lots.

Oriental and Tai Thong Golf Club the environment not bad but for both you need go bargain for free tables or benefit or cocktails before wedding during the wedding fair.

Both food for me, not bad as it had their own specialty but Oriental will charge 50% for food tasting while Tai Thong will waive it if u hit certain amount table confirmed.

Try to bargain hard...I had mine dinner banquet at Oriental Pavilion Jaya33 50 tables. Bargain hard, and eventually Oriental gave us FOC for food tasting.

Hello dear, I got married in Chicago and that is why I hired Wedding Venues for reception and dinner. They offered me great services within my limited budget and overall it was a great deal.

We paid for the food tasting ><

I like oriental group, coz the food is nice
Had some not so good experience with Tai Thong last time
Their price also reasonable (that's my own opinion la)
Nett price, all inclusive (GST, serive charge)
Some freebies ( ie: free chocolate, deco, corkage fee, invitaion card, stage backdrop)

Go to hotel like Mandarin Oriental?

I got mine thai thong 899 or 999 or 1299 nett no GST (cant remember the exact price) in PJ

one table
half price for testing (25 table)
free testing (30 table)
+ invitation card printing vouchers

super duple hard to bargain since their business is good

did mine in OG

food was excellent, some of my guests even returned to the restaurant for their own events

OG is generally more expensive than TT

TT for me so-so only..

oriental group would be better.
since you have 50 tables, you may do some research on the hall which located at sentul
food & environment are good

feedback from guests
1) Food is so so
2) AV system very old, no HDMI ended up took me 3 days doing own DVD
3) AV room ...No ppl controlling the slide (too bad my friend supposed to help also MIA)
4) Parking - very narrow and many construction on going for the surrounding
5) Waiter/Waitress service not bad

Been to both Tai Thong and Oriental Banquet, I would say Oriental Banquet food taste better...But also depends what package you take lor...

best package I've seen is dynasty dragon at damansara atria. New venue, parking no issues as it's a shopping mall. Package includes free tasting for six pax, free red wine per table, free one table for every 10 tables booked and low deposit.

Halls are brand new with changing color led lights.
