Just wondering, is our petrol leaded or unleaded?
Is our RON95 and/or RON97 contains any ethanol?

Also pardon me, may I know what is Euro2, Euro3, Euro4 and etc.?

Just curious. hmm.gif

as for ethanol percentage, most likely 0, but that 5% technically they can add anything they like.

I know it is basic, so I asked as I don't know.
I'm pretty sure my driving school did not educate me on these basics.

Just needed some enlightment from experts. icon_rolleyes.gif

1. our petrol are all unleaded since 2000's...

2. our ron95 /ron97 does not contain ethanol.

ethanol is more popular in the us and latin american countries as they grow corn.

corn syrup is a good base to make ethanol-based fuel.

also, i don't think malaysia will allow ethanol fuel because jakim will say it's haram since ethanol is part of the alcohol family.

despite ethanol fuel is never meant as a drink.

3. euro2/3/4/5/6 are all fuel standards.

umm no, ethanol and biodiesel are two different type of fuels for different type of engines.

ethanol is more suited for converted petrol engines.

biodiesel as it's name imply is for diesel engines.
