You are right, its not the AppRadio, after i uninstall it, i still can mirror it while driving. Maybe it's the cable.

Hi guys. My wife has a City 2014 V spec and am planning to get her a new Android phone. Main criteria is that Waze should display on the V-spec HU 

Besides solutions mentioned on the front page, all of which requires tinkering with the car, I am wondering if the slimport + Nexus setup actually works for other people too?

Also (question to sonofsam), do the bluetooth audio and steering phone controls work when you are mirroring using slimport? I assume you are using LG Nexus 5?

Do u guys hear a "kluk" sound on reaching  the first 40km speed.  This happens on every first start of car moving to speed 40km.

This morning saw a blue colour new honda city kiss the butt of a old model honda crv. The crv looks good. But the city looks bad. Left front part totally crash and the bonnet flip up.

hi guys, i own the E spec for about 3 months plus already, currently facing few issues which the 1st services at puchong service center but couldn't resolved...
1. the passenger and driver's door knocking sound(tak tak tak) during driving and crossing the road bump is getting louder with out without wind down the mirror. Unless, i tune up the radio volume
2. brake making noise every morning the first time i apply on break, and sometimes during the noon too. Service Agent claim "it's normal". < so, normal ke?
3. gear seem/sound like engaging the same shift even i had driven from 10-100km/h or more if i applying medium-light throttle without loose or increase the throttle < is it normal?
4. keyless unlock/lock button on handle sometimes doesn't work, have to use the remote to lock/unlock the door instead
5. the panel below handbrake having gaps, if i manage to clip on the left, right side loose, if i clip on the right, left side loose pulak
6. side mirror folding/un-fold can hear very loud motor retract noise.

Hi. Anyone has any say about the steering feel of City when running at high speed? I was doing 110-120km/h and occasion short burst to 130-140km/h and it gave an unpleasant lightness feel and dare not to run faster. I am not complaining nor am I comparing but my older car, Proton Saga megavalve 1991 handled much better at 160-170km/h but of course when during new. I wonder how other owners' experiences are.

There is a huge improvement after tighten up. Steering wheel is feel heavy a bit (when the speed going up) and easily feel the road condition + cornering is not wobbling side way.

Just went to another showroom for my FIRST test drive of the V variant.
I would say...As a driver, the feel was OK, but cornering seems so so only.
I asked the salesperson about Anti Roll Bar, he dunno about it.
And my mom sit at the rear passenger seat, she said the engine noise very loud, and noisy...
Do u guys experience the same too?

Power wise, econ mode really feel the underpower lah.

Any of u guys install Anti Roll bar into your city?

Hey mate, my sound proofing on my city roof. Excellent noise damp under the rain, and quite cabin while driving (Don't mention the road lar.. haha~!)

Total 3 layer of sound proofing
- Bitumen strip layers on critical area
- Full bitumen over the layers
- a Layer of 3M™ Thinsulate  26mm thick (Actually 10mm is sufficient)

By the way, i took my V spec tires and hook up into my sister's myvi and the tires are very quiet compare to my myvi stock tires. Right now i am using nasty AA tires that are way damn noisy. *faint*
