Experience few times with my City, when I just got the car. Same scenerio like what happend to you. Econ mode ON.
But recently no more, probably I know how to drive better with CVT now, or because I turned off Econ mode. QUOTE(lcyeap90 @ Jan 2 2015, 12:03 AM) Do you guys experience a little bit of jerk at low speed (20-40km/h) when you release the accelerator? This post has been edited by jhlou: Jan 2 2015, 08:57 AMLet's make a scenario. Perhaps you drive in housing area and u reach a bump and let go the accelerator. My car will have a bit of jerk when i release the accelerator in front the bump and then will jerk a bit again when i step back the accelerator after the bump. Went to service centre and they told me this is normal for cvt. I was like WTF?! I dont even experience this when i drive my 17 years wira. |

E and V spec Key-less
But he is right as I have heard this before and I did practice this QUOTE(Ivan113 @ Jan 7 2015, 10:18 AM) Installed this a week back, very handy, unlike stereng lock which is kinda hassle. By the way guys, normally if you get into the car, do you straight away start the engine and move the car? my cousin says have to actually twist half of the key, wait for certain lights to go off at the dash board, and then only twist the key until the engine starts, anyone else practice this? |

I think what he meant is the Press-Brake-To-Lock, which is a very useful stock feature found in MyVI.
Press the brake, and doors will lock. If I brake, unlock doors manually, let go of brake, then brake again, doors will auto-lock again, all while engine is still running. This is unlike City plug-n-play OBD that will lock doors either shift to D or speed-type. But when doors are unlock manually, OBD will not lock doors again unless engine is restarted. QUOTE(Taeng9389 @ Jan 9 2015, 09:54 AM) what you were talking about, are 2 different thing, This post has been edited by jhlou: Jan 9 2015, 04:53 PMOBD lock, a module that enables autolock, 2 kinds, shift to D, door lock, shift back to P, unlock another 1 is when you reach a certain speed, the doors will be lock Pedal lock, you pull up the handle to lock the brake pedal, not the whole car (you can still open the door), if it's locked, you won't be able to start the car, for key car, can't start because there's relay, for keyless, car can't start because the brake pedal is lock both can be install on the same car, because it's installed at different place |
