not sure if there's an obd that will function like that, so far, have only heard 2 type, with the gear type, one can just simply shift the gear to P, and back to D, then, it'll lock the door, even if you unlock it manually, i have that on my car, lol

did you mean this? plug n play? wont void car warranty, right? so far, any problems? how much you get? get from where? tyvm! notworthy.gif

I think it should be fine since I have use it but other brand. My problem is i bought MHL that need to plug another usb cable. Your MHL already have usb so did not require addtional usb cable plus you can manage the cable.
*
i just wonder mhl cable can connect android phone use in city? i think it just support iphone only? rclxub.gif

I install the locktech pedal lock. It is made from Thailand and a well known brand for pedal lock that comes with a 3 years warranty. It has double lock which can use for our push start. To me, it is considered good security better than none. However if someone really wants to steal your car, no one can stop them.
I purchase from sh@rty5 in this forum. His shop is in klang.

tyvm for the information rclxms.gif

anyone shop is within kl area? hmm.gif

what is means? "It has double lock which can use for our push start." hmm.gif

if malaysia safe like singapore, then i might not think about security, but here is malaysia. a lot of car theft.

i will go for security first, later only warranty.

if car got stolen, then warranty also no use... brows.gif

The best solution to ensure both secured are installed Cobra Connex Security System before collect the vehicle. Not only secured your car but also provide additional warranty on top of your car warranty. Peace of mind and stay alert all the time.

if you unlucky, some high tech theft know how to de-activate the gps, or hide the car inside the cave or container, gps also useless... brows.gif

anyway, have better than none, more security, theft will take more time to break... tongue.gif

You're confusing  tongue.gif  I think you meant lock with the button on the door handle?

In any case, mine no problem with locking the car either by using the button on the key or on the door handle

And if you're using the key to lock your doors, you have to be close enough to your car. There's a maximum range for the key but I forgot what it is.
*
it happend to me once, i stood beside the car door, press the door handle button, no lock sound, no beep sound... hmm.gif
