Hi, hope this is not a stupid question, but may I know what are the particular things that need to check upon receiving the new City?

About EEV, paultan has this story

http://paultan.org/2015/01/02/honda-jazz-c...cient-vehicles/

Whether there's any incentive:

"However, Honda Malaysia has told us that there are no changes to the retail prices for the Jazz and City, and that their pricing already takes into account the EEV incentives."

I started from MT (Saga LMST), and then 4AT (Myvi) and then now CVT (City). I'm usually quite gentle on the throttle because the previous 2 cars are quite sensitive in the throttle response. I'm still trying to find out the sweet spot of the throttle on City as I noticed the car takes quite a while to get to 60km/h and with ECON mode, so you know when I get into the fast lane to overtake, I need that extra juice, otherwise I'll get cucuk and highbeam, so once I pressed the throttle a bit harder, I get that so called "VTEC has just kicked in..." feel (actually 3k RPM only. tongue.gif)

So, yeah, that's my experience of driving my new City for the last 1 week. Anyway, I tried to turn off ECON mode, and what I noticed is that the acceleration feels much more linear, and it follows quite closely to how much throttle you are giving to the car.

Seriously I had this issue on the highway recently. Wanna cruise happily at 100km/h on the middle lane also kena cucuk for no reason. My car is only like 300km mileage engine also haven't properly break in, so had to signal to the slow lane and give way.

Just done my first 1000KM service and SA advised me that the next service (10,000KM) will be around RM350, including engine oil, oil filter, and air-cond filter??? I don't get it why you need to change air-cond filter when the car is just 6 months old? I think this component alone already cost around RM100++

I always have this question in mind on how VSA really works, 2 hypothesis that pop into my mind:

1. VSA ON, but doesn't mean the car cannot oversteer
2. When car oversteer, VSA helps driver to be able to correct the oversteer much easier than without, having said that, the driver still need to ACT ON THE emergency situation to keep the car in control.

Now what I need is another opportunity to test it in a controlled environment.

If began oversteer, you should try to countersteer it. Then the drifting smoke will come from behind with good image capture. What I hope now is Honda come out with FR machine that further increase the acceleration and driving experience.

Maybe an all-new Honda S2000?
