Nope. Waste money only. Better upgrade other stuff.

Totally agree with your statement. WIth the current road conditions, less ground clearance with bodykit added. Have to baby the car over humps/bumps not to mention slalom runs around potholes etc

i see thank you for clarification. im just new to this thread and currently eyeing for V spec City, my 7 year old Persona is not user friendly no more hehe.

still contemplating between jazz and city actually but i guess with all teh safety features and price wise, City is much more worth it.

so discounts and rebates are still available for 2015 City?
*
Yup. Booked a 2015 V spec city last month. Offered RM800 cash rebate. Then called my SA after hearing about this year's promotion and ended up getting RM3k cash rebate.

Wanna ask when is the proper time to pay down payment? When the car arrives and before registration or after registration? I've yet to sign the HPA as well.

Pay booking fee first..apply loan,,wait the car arrive only pay downpayment  smile.gif

I paid the booking fee and loan approved already. SA said car will arrive next week and I would need to pay the down payment and sign the loan agreement when I check the car (I request to check first before it is registered just in case got defects then I can ask them to rectify it).

I didn't snap much photo for the DIY. So, I simply draft out the DIY idea here..

First thing, buy a plug and play illuminated side step. Which I get from Sato auto acc m sdn bhd on Mudah

user posted image

RM160 + RM20 postage to my place.

The side steps comes with the complete wiring and socket for our ride. Which means you no need to cut any wire. No warranty issue on this DIY. Just plug and play.

On the wiring of the side step, I tap on 2 extra bulb for the foot light (red/black wire). See the photo below.

Bought the T5 socket for the foot light bulb on eBay. Which cost me around RM5 for each of it.
Then buy a wire holder from electric shop. Tied the bulb on it and put 3M double side tape behind. And ready to put below the dashboard. Oh ya, the T5 blue LED from eBay as well.

After the wiring work is done. Its time to open interior cover part by part to route the wire. Those steps I follow some tutorial on youtube. Important reminder. Be extremely careful to the handling of the retaining tabs and clips particularly.

Very simple right? hope you guys can DIY yourself a set like mine.  brows.gif

I bet you got lots more DIY on your ride.. Share it out bro..  drool.gif
For the interior and trunk light, I ordered the after market LED. Now waiting it to arrive. Will share it later on.
Which is look like this.

Hi Robertt,

Is this essentially removing the bulb within the enclosure and just swapping the LED pieces in? Mind sharing with us the link to purchase the trunk LED light?

Many thanks.

Won't cause to burn fuse unless the bulbs is faulty short circuit la... Change to Osram Night Breaker Unlimited or Philips X-treme Vision... Don't get those over 4000k and above halogen bulbs, guarantee looks nice but cannot see properly during heavy rain...

How about Cree LED bulbs for low and high beams? For normal reflector housing is it suitable for low beam?
