Effecting ECU ?

......

what i know is FC will be higher due to more weight...
*
The stock car had a pre-program system (ECU) to monitor the driving behavior and adjusted the system as and when appropriate. If added soundproofing which interrupted the original setting, the car will not cope with the system and ultimately this FC issue might be happen. Since you all have money to add the soundproofing, why not just upgrade a turbo kit to make it a true racing car. Honda ECU already open the setting for you to proceed with engine modification.

Well, depend on what car ur mum compare to.. Myvi? BMW?
Can't give u a proper answer. Different ppl got different experience level threshold.
Wonder if anyone did a proper noise test on all Bsegment. Will be very interesting.

All I can say is cheap car come with cheap stuff.
City roof is naked. No sound insulation. tyre noise due to tyre profile/type "goodyear" and no proper tyre sound insulation.

The time I bought my car, is because I need a car for work and future small family car. Not I buy to satisfy parent. Human will never satisfy at a point. Once u luxurious car, u nvr want to look at cheaper car if have options unless serious financial encounter.
*
Well, my mom comparing with her current Hyundai i10 lah.
But me as the driver, i don't see much different with Myvi & i10...

I think the NVH for this car is ok except when it is raining due to the roof has no noise insulation.
I haven't sat at the rear seats yet so couldn't comment much.
Probably becoz my previous car was a old proton saga and I was use to the noise.
But there was a few times i close the aircon and radio of my honda city but i forgot to off my engine.
When i try to lock the car, the car will beep and that is when i remember that i forgot to off my engine, haha..
Car engine is quiet, I mean for me la..
*
Have u guys added soundproof on the car doors?
I heard some people do that to improve the noise isolation.
Then the noise outside will be isolated, making the car cabin much more quiet?

Wondering what is wrong with this thread,
macam any modification will affect ECU..
and then suddenly racing car pulak..

As for me, a car that doesn't give problem in long run already enough..
Haven't encounter any major/minor issue with this car yet..

The car is use to bring me some place and make money,
instead of headache making money for the car "maintainent"..
Accesories is optional.. if have money then is up to the owner what to do to his/her car.

I'm sure soundproofing will more or less affect a little to FC..
I dont think all the material will weight more than a average person weight right? (60kg e.g)

I'm just 50kg....
cannot lose any weight more.. later become zombie..

Benefit added soundproof ( my point of view and what i feel ):
Steering became abit heavy (suitable for my style of drive)
Original speaker sound quality improve alot...
close door more solid feel (syiok sendiri)
More silence than before less noise during certain speed.....

OK, after reading many many many reviews and opinions from you guys, I have decided to go for V variant.

Any SA recommended for JB area?
Hoping to confirm the purchase by end of May.

By the way, did u guys install the rear camera from Honda or from 3rd party?
I heard the Honda SA said if we install from 3rd party, the warranty will be void, right?

There is a plug and play socket to connect the camera, any issues just remove it and send back to SA. No big deal mate.

original honda reverse cam cost over 1k, multi angle, made in USA (as pointed out by blurjoey), anything cost less than 1k is 3rd party 1, SA just want you to let them install, then get commission, or take 500 from you, install a 200+- cam for you
