Hi guys & gals, any suggestion or recommendations for a good quality car phone holder for iphone 6 plus? plan to use it for gps navigation and it should be sturdy enough to withstand bumps and shocks from the msian roads? price is not really of a concern as long as it can be justified, thanks

By far, Exomount is the best I've owned. Both my cars are using it. Superb one handed operation.

Did a lot of research on this. Exo mount overpriced (119)and arm too short. Reviews complaint the arm easy to break.
Arkon is better. Long arms and rm90 can get. Go google it's review.

not all have that problem. their QC this time is really  doh.gif . like bro connect2u says, if you go to their site now for the EC 6 cases its now stated "Design In California/U.S.A" so the production??? In their FB page they are also many complaints on the ronin ip6 quality. I still like EC, just hope that they will improve their QC and stop delaying release but not improving it.
*
ya.. same.. QC is the most important thing for any product especially premium item. Just look at our Proton, i find the design nice and not bad too.. unfortunately the QC sucks and i lose faith on it. scared of getting a lemon unit.. so u think I'm gonna pay for one? Nah.. i go for other brand instead.. (oklah... proton not a premium brand, but again the new model price also comparable to some imported brands)

Have you actually used one? You should try it out before commenting it based on reviews. I've owned more than 5 different brands and none comes closed to Exomount. The Arkon mount you recommended is still using a base mount plate which the Exomount can suck on any surfaces. In terms of longer arms, I personally won't feel it too short or easily breaks. I've been using it since iP5s and now my iP6+ with thinner body and wider screen size that fits in perfectly. It's on my dash rather than on the windscreen which will damage my tints in long run. Most base plate uses double sided tape to stick on the dash and it'll fall off eventually or leave the stubborn damaged adhesive tapes on the dash if I need to remove it. I at first felt it's overly price but it worth my money spent. Btw, I bought it at RM99 at iStore JayaOne.

Actually for car mount, if its really good then RM99 consider cheap lo... some sell for more than RM100 but also useless...

thank you for the feedback, plan to put the ip6+ on it, and yes I rather not stick it to the tint as well, exo mount should be my answer

Yup using arkon now and loving it. I research reviews that purposely compare these 2 brands.
Trust me seriously wanted to get exogear since it's easily available in machines and design look more attractive. But forumers who compared both always return to using arkon in the end.
Who knows, maybe I will just buy exogear for 2nd car and install it. brows.gif
