dont wanna try another modem to counter umobile's bad signal? or you can also try out some apps that controls swapping of network based on apps, signal strength etc, to counter the bad signal too

Hello guys, i've purchased a china version of OPO yesterday and I can't seem to find any network provider, it gave out error "error while searching for network".

basically while off wifi, set the phone to use 2G
then you can set the app to swap to 3G or LTE based on screen unlock, or screen wake up, or based on apps being opened.

based on my experience using the app, set the network toggle based on apps being opened, that will consumed less battery. setting it to toggle fast network when screen is unlocked drains the battery too much.

then, you set, if fast network was already toggled, the condition for the phone to go back to 2G can be determined by minutes the phone is set to sleep again, or when wifi is detected.

the main idea is, without wifi, the phone will consume less power while on 2G. thats given. but you also want to use LTE on the phone, or you might just use an iphone 3gs. and the same time, you dont want the phone to keep swapping network, because that will cause more battery drainage.

1st: check if the sim card is properly inserted
2nd: check your telco APN settings

quite similar concept. there are other similar apps like the one i mentioned. but i prefer this one. wanna know why?
