Guys, dropping in just to ask if anyone has used these scripts before? Especially the MegaWipe.

I noticed there has been tons of unwanted junk on my SIII but I have no idea where they are located. So I'm planning to wipe it clean then flash another custom ROM.

Problem is my micro SD has been sent for another warranty claim, so I've no idea how to proceed if I use the MegaWipe. Any guides around on flashing custom ROMs using Odin? Or is there any other method of transferring the file after doing a wipe in the recovery? rclxub.gif

I've been using AOSP from NeatROM for some time now, it seems fine, could last me just fine for a day without charging till I get home, and since it is based on SlimKat I'm guessing it quite similar with yours.

You should be at the limits of what the ROM can save for you, how much more battery life are you looking for anyway?

If you're talking about stability, I'm sure that would suffice, some random FCs doesn't really count. I mean it's better than the Lolipop ones right? But for the transitions, I would definitely opt for the 5.0, they are just neat! thumbup.gif

Guys another thing is I've been wanting to flash the Boeffla Kernel for some time but I've no idea which to flash, due to the variety of kernels there. rclxub.gif
My best guess is the "Omnirom NG kernel" is it? icon_question.gif

No idea man, hardly use the stock music player anymore.

Did you like do a clean flash? Wipe and all.

Or try another music player app and see if it works?

hi guys, my S3 is having problem where I can't move anything from internal storage to SD card...it will pop out say "moving failed" "unable to move. file already existing" etc

however, i'm sure that those file is not in my SD card at all, it even said "deleting failed"
Only can delete file from my internal storage. I had unmount the SD card, remove and reinserted it still failed

what problem with my phone or my SD card? any solution?

Probably your SD card is done for. I had the same problem back then, nothing could be written or erased from the card but it still was able to read from it, but not long after it just went dead.

Not to blame S III or anything, but even my SanDisk 64GB microSD has been "RMA-ed" thrice. sweat.gif

Which SD card are you using?

imma having prob. upgrading FW from 4.1.2 to 4.3 via KIES

now i must head up to manual update firmware which I found is XME-I9300XXUGML3-20140128221224.zip

the problem is, this file is distributed via a very slow file-sharing site like rapidgator or terafile

i'd appreciate if someone here still kept the firmware on dropbox or google drive etc perhaps you can share with me?

THANKS!

Why don't you try a premium link generator which gives you premium speeds for nothing?

There's tons of services like that around the net. nod.gif
