Guys...

My beloved S3 is dead. It just says that E:can't mound system (no directory found)

What's the cause of the problem ? Suddenly only becomes like this.

Yes able to go to recovery mode and download mode. I've even tried to flash custom recovery and rom but no luck. I also tried flashing stock rom with PIT file still no luck.

Is it permanently dead ?

Actually at first I tried to flash stock rom alone but still the same thing came out. I then googled a lil bit and in one of the forums they say to flash PIT file too as the partition could be corrupted.

But somehow still the same error. Still no luck.

Don't know what else to do...

The rest I've not tried it. Will download the modem and try again. It was working flawlessly when suddenly it goes into icu.

Could be that the rom chip already dead and needs a mobo replacement ?

I downloaded the stock rom from sammobile but still unsuccessful and I'm aware that the stock rom includes all components except for PIT file. I was reading on the other forums and they said to flash stock together with PIT but that also doesn't work.

It would be great if you have any idea or solution to my problem.
