I am using Wanamlite v4.3 and the phone is getting laggy. Thinking of flashing a ROM that is simple, light, free of bloatwares, lag-free and stable. Not thinking to keep changing ROM so need a stable & reliable ROM.

Any recommendations, sifu?

Try Bleakota Note 4 v 4.5

Thanks for the recommendation, but it seems to me that it is still with TouchWiz and some noticeable bugs are still observed. Any other stable and light ROM?

if you not really into trouble shooting your rom...  i recommend archi 1.78 rom for touchwiz...

it is stable as a daily driver...

Any non-touchwiz stable ROM? Was considering 4.4 version or mayb KitKat?

My S3 has been slow and even auto-restarts sometimes. Any light, with good battery consumption ROM that you guys recommend? Bug-free will also be a good point. Not looking for performance or feature heavy ROM.

If I wanna flash new ROM, how do I ensure my data (pic, contacts, password, whatsapp, etc) can be transferred? Still using titanium?

you copy those folders WhatsApp,DCIM,Telegram tp pc or memory card.
backup your sms, contacts, call logs, calendars, bookmarks using Super Backup Pro (<<<<please ensure to choose external storage) you are good to go.
After the flashing is completed transfer back those folders to internal phone memory - install back Super backUp Pro - restore back your sms, contacts, call logs, calendars, bookmarks (go to setting & locate back the backup folders)
As for the password - you have to write it manually and save it word document.
Go to Samsung Galaxy Apps - register - download the legal Microsoft Office Pack from there (Samsung & Microsoft has agreed to work together so the Microsoft Office Pack is as good & legal as in the Windows environment) and you are good to go.

The thing is I do not have a memory card so Super Backup Pro with external storage might not be do-able? Passwords are my greatest headache as I could not remember some of the accounts. cry.gif

After 3 years, my SIII finally gave in. The phone is working fine but the whole screen has blacked-out
