QUOTE(ktfong @ Apr 16 2015, 07:28 AM) hi all, im new in rooting phone, been using my s3 since it released. decided to root it after browse through this forum. rooted to TWRP using odin. able to access the TWRP startup page. but then how to install the custom rom that you guys talking about? its an img file https://mega.co.nz/#!SYAXFBLS!aMlya...AhRHZTq9zPCgUikplease advise >.< This is not IMG file but it's a zip file - yes go ahead and flash it - but please ensure that you have backup the current ROM including the EFS in TWRP itself - once completed flashing the Kopet rom don't forget to wipe Delvik and Cache.

QUOTE(normeck @ Jun 28 2015, 09:14 AM) i need normal dialer... huhuhu Just install back in your device Archie rom base on JB la - problem solved. Or get the new Lenovo K3 Note and flash the custom roms via TWRP - it's cheap and gooding device and support usb otg - check their thread. QUOTE(cyclonerox @ Jun 28 2015, 01:13 PM) Back to noot v9 great? because s3 is my only phone haha, not playing games with phone , just expecting something smooth and lag free ~ Yeah it's ok nice rom - I have installed many roms but my son still prefer this rom. You may try other rom first such as Euphoria , Qaraqumus and NCSRomThese roms are quite good.

LoL Sorry to hear that - for budget phone can go for Lenovo K3 Note or look for used Note 3 - I just installed Norma rom S6 v5 for my wife's Note3 and her sister - not bad ooo - almost as fast as Note4 on Sweet Rom.

QUOTE(cyclonerox @ Jun 29 2015, 11:23 AM) Bro I got an issue here...which I can't get the solution from google.. No matter what ROM I flashed ...my audio/mic is not working when receiving or making phone call unless I turn on the loudspeaker mode...anyone facing this problem before? I did factory reset , wipe both caches and even wipe to install a new ROM ( using philz touch ) but the result is the same..Stock ROM no problem =\ Try do these steps on the latest TWRP (others recovery i never tried) 1.Go to recovery - Wipe - Advance Wipe - choose Dalvil cache|system|data|cache (only these 4 elements - internal storage & micro SDcard DON'T TOUCH) - Do these steps for 3 times. 2.Go to Wipe - Slide the arrow to auto wipe & auto factory reset. 3.Install the rom after clean wipe (as per the above) 4.Wipe Dalvik cache 5.Reboot system.

QUOTE(XJShinoda @ Jul 4 2015, 06:59 PM) Just normal usage, the last software i installed was Ramen game, it was a few weeks back then. One morning i woke up to my phone showing touchwiz not responding. So i did a factory reset to that. Then my messengers were acting strange after i installed everything, not responding. So i did a hard reset. Since then my phone occasionally reset itself. I have no idea what is wrong with it. Custom rom is the answer for this random reboots.
