Stuck at bootloop out of nowhere. Using slimKat. Guess my s3 mobo or internet memory gave up. I got the famous eMMC(0xf1 if not mistaken) that have high chance of failure.

Wooow! S3 starting to fail us...

Software side S3 still goes strong with lollipop… not yet fail us…

But the hardware seems to be not able to stand much longer...

wah, i try to install Archidroid Lolipop.... take more than 10 minute to reboot, still at the logo and i turn of and flash back other ROM...

I think should be less than 10 minutes… BTW I full wipe before flashing the ROM… so far no prob… u used arter97 kernel b4?

full wipe means wipe internal? before using boefella

wipe clean...no need to wipe internal..btw which recovery r u using?

I used arter97 philtouch to flash… gt 1 time stuck in bootloop when flashing archidroid cm12 bcoz I did switch to f2fs with arter97 kernel… after switch back to ext4 no prob…

did u check md5? got same? mine using philz no prob...latest TWRP should do good..

today just gave it another chance, think might be power button failure but nope. Tried to hold my power button to simulate button stuck and it did not even have a chance to reach slimkat boot animation. Mine will restart again when a vibrate that cue me that OS is done loading during slimkat boot animation. So i confirm mine not power button failure lol
disappointed haha.. tot i might have another chance

yea. just tried flashed back after i post last nite. same thing.. stuck at boot animation.

1. Flash ROM
2. Factory Reset
3. Wipe cache

haha.. this is funny.. remember i want to install cm12, but not succeed?

here is what happen...
before today, im using TWRP... getting error cannot dl via TWRP manager and cant dl till 100 % via web...but somehow i manage to install TWRP....

but when im installing TW ROm... it can install BUT...
got error cannot format preload....

but still managed to install TW ROM....

then i suspect this cannot format preload mesti ada kena mengena tak boleh install Lolipop...
so i search the solution....

im web say, change back to CWM or philz... that recovery got format preload...

then i change back to Philz..format preload... now i can install Lolipop...yay!

still able to working la. custom rom for s3 is smoother than huawei most expensive phone stock rom. i testing at KLCC the promoter said where got lag. i show him my s3 also 4.4.4 much smoother but 5.0 not smooth. lollipop also no stable & also our processor is sux unlike iphone
