Finally got time to flash NCS ROM in my son's S3 - very good battery life - this weekend gonna flash the v18.
This ROM is really better vs Qaraqumus's ROM - stable.

how you download clip from facebook?

ok got it : Google play Apps
*
I download the fb video clips using the stock browser.
But I just found out the NCS v17 is bad on all browsers (Chrome,Stock,CM browser) - was advised to flash v18 but v18 has no stock calculator and clock
Need to wait for the latest version maybe v19 as mentioned by the chef cook.

TBH after testing the NCS & Qaraqumus these 2 are really shxx hole ROM - nothing beats the B2N - B2N really optimized the limited hardware (the bloody ram) of the S3 - stable, fast and reliable even though the battery runtime is so².
So yeah I restore back the B2N v9 in my sons S3.
That's it no more other ROM.

what are you doing with that ROM  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
Normal usage,my son play games the most with it but no doubt the NCS v18 is really good on battery standby.
My friend S3 is satisfied with NCS v17 but he haven't tested the web browser, once v19 is out I will reflash for him again.
The NCS v17 battery standby on his device is 2days ++ with 2hours SOT.

so what do you say is those stock ROM not good enough for gaming? B2N is good for gaming?
*
NCS and B2N good for gaming but the smoothness B2N wins.
Qaraqamus - just keep it in the drawer.

Been trying these few day with archi and blisspop bugs maybe alittle still can use. Things I dun like is both rom, battery heat up very easy.
Camera sucks. Prefer the good old Samsung camera apps.
*
That's why I'm using B2N - I want the stock camera - the goes on my Mi3 as well, the stock camera is superb.

Do you have any boeffla profile to share? Battery saving and no lag? This phone not for gaming. Mainly for working email, whatsapp, wechat, internet, and call.

The phone is at home - i'm in the office now.

Have to put these in points fellas so bear with me:-
1. Refurb the wife's (now a "hand me down") i9300 broken glass front to a new front, new batt + spare charger then flash and stick w/ either Tw based ROMs = either NCS or b2n OR >>>

2. Still refurb the phone of course but scratch the nagging itch and just endure the ongoing rear cam's selective apps' bug (Instagram, WeChat etc) on most AOSP ROMs. Liked AD very much alas that "can't connect to camera" error finally drove me up the wall now am on the latest 20150911 Omni build.

So waddaya reckon guys? P.S:- JustArchi just now posted build 17 of his CM12.1 beta
*
Refurb and install B2N or wait for NCS v19 which suppose to be release this weekend.

Thanks for replying and yes dki's last post before kinda piqued my interest tbh. It'd be interesting to see if he's moving NCS' base up.
*
S3 still a good hardware despite ram limitation - but if you can match a good custom ROM in it the S3 can turn out to be the new Iron Man - so to me even though B2N has it own bug but not many,it is still the best ROM closes to stock we can get.
Another to boost performance on this device is you must try several kernels, because each S3 behave differently.
Agni kernel is also not bad.

I think I might be wrong on my negative comment on the NCS v17 or even v18 - my friend S3 which I installed NCS v17 in it is flying superbly - maybe the system cache is stable after a few days of flashing it.
Battery standby time is superb.
