Thanks to @surefire v LED. I've managed to restore my EFS. But I have another problem. I have reverted everything to stock ROM and everything works, IMEI is correct and SIM is working. So I again flashed to AD3.1, then the SIM is not detected. But the IMEI stays and is still correct though. Any help please?
*
Your welcome - never come across this issue while I'm on S3 B4 - I have flashed many² roms but this one is under special handling case - perhaps you might want to report to the developer.

I have tried reboot and reflashing..seems like custom ROMs simply wont detect my SIM. The only ROM that detects my SIM is the latest stock ROM. So every time I will start flashing custom ROM from that point, and once I boot into custom ROM its either SIM wont get detected or IMEI gets unknown.

I tried this, at working custom ROM I use TWRP backup /EFS. Flashed custom ROM. IMEI unknown. Restore the /EFS backup made earlier. But still to no success.

LED bro...I need ur help...I flashed this AD v3.1...impressed with its performance..but there's something I can't fix myself after reading xda forum...hope you can help me out hahaha..

I would like to know if I can remove the google search? which is sticky on screen.. and how can I change my ring tone and notification tone? without stock media player seem not possible to change add custom ringtone?
*
Google search can't be removed - you have to untick it in aroma installer.
For adding ringtone - install root explorer - launch it - go to system - media - notification - ringtone.
I suggest you rename those whatever ringtones you have B4 copying to that folder.
And reboot.

Ok you won't believe this. Originally I have given up but I saw your reply so I turned on my i9300 to try your fix, but without even trying your fix, it works...SIM is detected. I have tried reboot, power off for few hours the other day but not a damn thing works. Now it works without any fix...so thanks guys.

BTW, although it works now (and I have made a full nandroid backup) but when I flashed the ROM last time, I untick Xposed just to save that lil bit amount of time. Now I wanna install Xposed manually as I was too afraid to reflash it again. I just wanna ask the Xposed originally included in AD3.1, is it the same with the one here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/sup...xposed-t3072979 ? I wanna try to follow the instructions there.
*
During aroma installation did you choose to save the installation log?
You can check in the log - i did save the log but my son's S3 i left it at home - I'm outside now.

same old archidroid - old habits die hard - device always have that excessive heat ever since last year on all of his Roms - flash the QS-i9300 rom + xposed + amplify = smooth, fast, battery still idle at 62% for 5 hours.Smoother than B2N.Should have tried this rom 6 months ago.

But I am doing fine with AD3.1 and I loved it, don't want back to be using stock ROM. By the way, I should be more clear when I said GPS isn't working, I downloaded GPS Status and it shows that my GPS signal keeps dropping, thereby making it unusable.

EDIT: Solved by tightening the screws. Its locking faster than ever now.
