i wanna play.i saw my cousin played when i was in US and he winning bucks. can teach me how to play?i lazy to read the how to books thought =P

Im trying to set up a group where we can play lower limit. If you use bittorrent you can get lots of great, entertaining videos. I recommend:(in no particular order)

1. High Stakes Poker
2. World Series of Poker (WSOP)
3. World Poker Tour (WPT)
4. Professional Poker Tour (PPT)
5. Poker Superstars

If you want to try your hand at poker, online poker rooms are a good place to start. All of the major poker sites let you play for play money. I recommend titan poker or pokerstars.

Dont like books? Not a problem....there are countless video's that teach you strategies for any level. The following two sites should satisfy the needs of anyone.

i wld be interested to learn how to play texas hold"em.. but there are just so many kinds of poker out there and i dont know which is which .. mind to pm me with a link to a good torrent on the game?

The most popular form of poker is definitely No Limit Texas Hold'em although there are many other varieties such as Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo Seven Card Stud, Razz and quite a few others. Torrents are easy to find, just search on torrent search engines. I recommend High Stakes Poker (high entertainment value), Professional Poker Tour, World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker. I will post the torrent of the Asian Poker Tour which was held in Singapore last month if i come across it.

I am playing Texas Holdem with my friends recently. Nice game but I am bad at it.

Any experience you would like to share?

I'm actually looking for more people to join our game....all beginners to intermediates. Trying real hard to get a game going weekly or maybe more often. A game where anyone can just pop over and play. Now how sweet is that? Would you be interested? We have a monthly game going now you could check out.

hmm...we play this in the office almost everyday...it's either you can lose a hundred each day...or win your salary amount in a month if you're good i know i've lost enuff...

Great game yesterday, full of loose, super aggressive play. Beats playing online with faceless opponents anyday. And ehem, a good run of cards didn't hurt either.
