this is not old lah. maybe old for you since got new design 100 dollar notes now. but still can change. I change 3 months ago after come back malaysia. Money changer can mah.

i also have USD 100 old currency for change..but got small stamp on it

as i know they only take this type of notes from 1997 or later. i maybe mistaken, but this is what ive informed. yours in 1969.

perhaps you try few money changers. In KL ones didnt accept. try the outskirts.
But its still accepted in US.

That's a Series 1969 note.

Some money changer will put up a note on their counter stating that they won't accept anything less than Series 2000 notes. This is because some organized crime got hold of the USD 100 printing plate and began manufacturing fake superbills. The Series 2000 and later had more security feature, and hence widely accepted compared to anything before that.

It is, however, still a legal tender in the US. If you're there maybe can have it changed there or with the help of someone staying there.

Old 100 USD bills are the most forged in the world. In some countries like Colombia an Iran it was a huge industry.

I able to change at one of the money exchange at 1Utama few weeks ago...no problem and at a good rate too...
