i used a VPN to create germany based steam account then only could see it in my steam store.

For those whom are interested in doing this, here is what i did.

1. create new dummy gmail
2. create new steam account & fill in caphta all. country no need to set one its fake.
3. when you are at the stage to verify your email, now u need to make sure your VPN is on and working (i used Free VPN chrome extension)
4. make sure your VPN on then verify your email yaa. then only do the final steps to set steam username,etc.
5. check your account details there to see your region. Also what currency u see the games are sold in.

will test the ping when the game goes live for free2play & report back!

if you know anyone doing this can u ask how the ping is from MY? wondering if i should buy founders or just wait for f2p but my decision will be heavily dependent on the average ping.
if ping too sad until canot do raids comfortably then no point getting founders.

is EU better ping? cause it seems like lots of SEA players are heading NA West.

Exitag user here, what I did was connect to germany vpn for browser and steam. Then I made a new steam account and log in on steam. However even with vpn steam still can detect that im from malaysia for some reason. Now this is what I did.
1. Go to the store and add any item to your cart, then proceed to checkout. Do not pay anything.

2. At the checkout there is an option for me to select my country between malaysia and germany. I set it to germany, cancelled the checkout.

3. Now my steam is all in euros and I can search for lost ark amd download it.

I am still not sure if vpn is needed for playing the game or not. Also when I log into my main steam account I can also see lost ark on there

Btw anyone planning to start on eu? If not many sea community then might start on NA, but ping is gonna be higher

100% EU will have better ping compare to NA. But majority of sea/oce are going to na.
