1) Can we do self-installation to save the 88 bucks?
2) SIM that used more than 12 months need to be charged RM50?
3) The 017 phone line id free for 6 months, so after the period we need to pay RM15x12(total is 18-months contract) = RM180?

some questions for the pricing...

I'm very frustrated with Maxis wireless broadband, the 1st month trial period is very fast,
Recently I just cancel the voice package after 7 month of usage because I heard about that if cancel the voice package within six months, they will penalize you with high charges. I also cancel the itemized billing (pay RM5/month for 7 month continuously but only get 2 billing, call them also useless). A few days after the voice package has been canceled, I log into the maxis account and see the status, I was shock that the pending changes is RM8xx++. ![]() Calling to Maxis service centre on Sunday, they said need to clear the pending charges, i told him i already pay each bill every month. After a long discussion, they said will reply me within 3 days after the investigation. Some question... If the users not clear the bill within the 2 continuous months, i think they already cut you line, why need to wait after 7 month then block the line?? ![]() On Monday I switch on the modem but can't connect to internet. Call them for verify and they said the network is down, please wait 2 hours and try again. The next day (after 24 hours) I try, still can't access. Call them on Tuesday and the customer service said that their network got problem, ask me to switch off the modem 1st, wait 2 hours and try later. (Another 2 hours again, Maxis rules???), so I try after 4 hours but still can't. The next day (Wednesdays night) try again the connection but still same...#$%@$$, angry and call them again, this time I ask them call me back (Maxis still charging the customer services call, really sucks. I prefer using Digi because free call and good customer service). The operator said my acc is suspended because haven't clear the bill yet... fainted. Please la, Maxis's brother and sisters, do the jobs nicely, check the account summary carefully, Now I consider about the Celcom new broadband package and Digi HP notebook-broadband promotion package, look quite well |
