i tried this morning also and its fast. at night only the speed comes to a crawling state. i think its either i downgrade my line to 384 package and pay rm68 every month instead of paying rm98 for 3.6Mbps OR just cut it and try Izzinet.

QUOTE(cinbao @ Oct 4 2007, 08:34 AM) it means the modem hasnt been connected to the internet yet. Go to Network Connect tab and make sure its on Auto Connect and press submit. Wait for awhile and it should be connected. If you just subscribed only, probably they havnt activate your line yet. |

that's why once you notice the speed sux quickly return it to the centre within 7days for termination. if not you better pray hard hard for maxis to upgrade their service. its pointless calling their customer support coz they can't do much about it. been thru that.

i just dumped maxis wireless last friday. went to the centre and gave back everything. just fill up the form and they will return the cheque in a month time or so. opted for izzinet and its way more flexible in term of subscription period, not tied up for 18 months like maxis. Speed wise more reliable compared to maxis. Anyway all this speed thingie depends on area i guess. just pray that you are the lucky one. Trust me i've been suffering for almost a week using maxis. glad that's over.

QUOTE(llhm87 @ Oct 7 2007, 09:39 PM) Your speedtest is really amazing. I having slow connection but not as bad as yours. BTW, just calm down. well if you have those credit card mentioned on their website, you can have easy repayment in 12 installments, which in my case (izziyou package) every month my credit card will be billed RM 104. i got to wait n see my first bill comes in to confirm everything. if you wan to know more about other users feedback on the service you can check out this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=485919Izzinet require you to pay advanced 12 months. But i'm not sure how is the service yet. Hope you can let us know. Thanks below is the speed i'm getting around this hour ![]() This post has been edited by kevyon6: Oct 7 2007, 11:12 PM |

i guess maxis is giving bandwidth priority to their maxis 3G connect hence throttling their standard wireless broadband. Just my assumptions.
