yup, the Maxis Modem can be used together with router. Just use Cross Erthenet cable will do.

how about if we really need to use more than 3GB??? For those web programmer like me who always need to help company upload things back to web server when we work from home.....very ja lar. Hope Masix will not become another "kacang"....

last week I can't book air ticket on line from Axx-Asia. It always shows timed out. No choice but have to go to my friend's house with Streamyx to book. Connection no problem and very fast...what happend to Maxis???

No wonder my connection so slow...maybe my area not covered by HSDPA? I tried with my fren's phone to detect 3G coverage and it is there 3G signal! Just wonder why???

me too. So far I had been using for 1.5 months and reached limit 10.5 GB (upload+download) but so far so good. I think they haven't inpose the 3GB limit yet. Who knows when they will impose it....anyway

thx Ahmike...now my maxis bb cannot connect at all. It might due to my maxis bb bill overdue for 3 weeks and they didn't notify me at all..not a single call. Really poor service .

if really got penalty charge for exceeding 3 GB limit, I sure kena coz I already exceed it!!! Maxis shd at least give customer a call about that.

now start getting frustracted with maxis already. Last night try my connection at Prima Setapak and it connect at either EDGE or GPRS only. My brother use Celcom 3G and it is damn fast...watch online TV program very smooth. His package also 384kpbs only.

set ur router default gateway to 192.168.0.1 and ur ip to 192.168.0.2 (start from 2 to 255).

the maxis service is so so only....why still so many ppl wish to apply? I already regret but I have no choice. My area got no streamyx

Maybe u all go for Maxis because of this?
