Asking that day, RM99 for unlimited usage package, RM499 for the datacard. Is the deal worth it? i means Internet 2Go package.

The rm99/month will last till September only, after that, you still have to pay rm120, unless they change it eventually.

Many thanks for the reply.

Last I checked (and I checked many times!), the minimum contract period varies between 12 to 24 months.  This was one of the main reasons why I decided not to sign up with them.  It's OK to have minimum contract period if they subsidise the cost of hardware, for example, a 3G/HSDPA datacard, but if not, then it's unfair to the customer to insist on one - what if the service sucked?

Maxis wbb should have 2 years contract. Anyway, I asked several times in different maxis center, hopefully I get the right thing, hehehe.
Anyway, I activated my plan online through maxis portal.

samueler, yes, I have a voice line, since I am already a post paid user and my 3G is for backup ... so I don't mind switching it between my phone and data card, afterall, my data card is voice enabled.

It can be a standalone data only plan, my colleague just subscribed to it last month. Agree with you, quite confusing actually.

My colleague staying in 12th Floor still get hsdpa. I believe it's also depends on the location of the transmission tower.

When I was in Menara Amcorp 9th floor, I got good speed also.
