i register for this maxis package 3 weeks ago.. and they book a date for installation which is last week..

until now, no news either from maxis or the technicians... is this normal? how long would they take to come for installation?

i registered it 3 months ago, but they only inform me my area no coverage after i call...............then i told them i apply for my working area, they told me..got coverage but u need to re-apply it again.......stupied maxis agent

i had returned the modem within 30days period due to its extremely poor performance and P2P blocked, but i still receiving bill from maxis for the second times....so s*cked Maxis....giving people some many trouble....

Anyone having billing issue on this Maxis wireless service? I've been barred for not clearing the bill after subscribing for the first 2 months. Now it's more than another month after clearing the bill, I have the feeling that I'll will not receive my bill again. Did anyone here having the same issue as mine?
BTW, I did go to the maxis center yesterday which having the payment machine, I tried to key in the mobile no. 017-xxxxxx and check whether can check my outstanding payment or not. It showed that I have RM85 outstanding payment. Is it my wireless service outstanding bill? If yes, why is it RM85 & not RM 68? Can anyone give some comment? thanks.

Guys... I am posting this to get some clarification on Maxis claim that Penang island is covered (3G)... but my handphone says otherwise. Only (2G and 2.5G) all the time. I am using moto V3 maxx and it shows what kind of bandwidth area I am in. At first I tot it's normal, but when I was in Japan, it shows (3G) on my phone... blur... so, are we covered or not?

anyone using wired broadband in bandar puteri? how's the connection? stable?? thinking of applying home wired.

Guys.. i have subscribe and use this service for 3-4 month.. and i just notice (at bills) that Home Voice Standard Waiver (RM15.00) only for 6 month.. mean, after 6 month we have to pay it.

we have to pay for ~RM98.00 for our basic (domestic call not included) usage.. waa never espect the charge will become like this...

applied last tuesday, got mine installed yesterday. so far so good but only thing is that p2p is blocked.

try BT at 1.00am erly2 in da morning.. maxis unblock p2p traffic at that time i think bcoz after 1.00 am my Bitcommet starting to download my movie..

Yesterday, the connection at George Town, Penang isalnd was too slow that you practically could not access any site.

Maybe someone has post b4, anyway got anyone here know can an IP camera setup via maxis modem incorporate with a wireless router? Below are some of my questions......

1) Is't true that the maxis modem need to connect to LAN port of router as a switch then only allowable for more than 1 PC to be online?

2) Possible connect modem to WAN port of router? What should we configure in the router or modem as proper configurations? Basically i don't see much settings in maxis modem we can set.

3) Maxis modem allow port forwarding? Without port forward, i cannot get connected to Domain Network Service (dyndns).

1. Yes of course. You need a router.

2. possible
Modem auto will use 192.168.0.X (usually 20)
you just need to set your router to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.X X= whatever number you like.
3. Then set your pc ip to 192.168.0.Y Y= whatever number you like but not X. And defaul gateway 192.168.1.X.
