QUOTE(k!nex @ Aug 11 2007, 02:09 AM) wow,i also get 50++kilobytes per second only using ares.but wat i took was the 768 package.means,384 package almost similar only in terms of speed .wat for wan 768 package. but ur direct download is much more faster than 384 package.at my rented house, me and my frens had to pass modem according to "timetable" due to its low speed.at my other classmates home, they are using 8-ports switch and everyone of 'em doing download/upload..they're using 768 package |

The principal problem was that most sites were too big for a "class C" network number, and received a "class B" number instead. With the rapid growth of the Internet, the available pool of class B addresses (basically 214, or about 16,000 total) was rapidly being depleted. Classful networking was replaced by Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR), starting in about 1993, to solve this problem (and others). Class B is outdated? QUOTE(4 n z @ Sep 2 2007, 01:21 PM) QUOTE(Spiderman123 @ Sep 2 2007, 06:02 PM) I'm moving to my new hse in puchong soon and Maxis is only the ISP available there at the moment. maxis wired broadband and wireless to me are like "langit dan bumi"And therefore, i'm still thinking shall i go for the wired or wireless Maxis broadband. my 1mbps maxis wired broadband at my home in rawang can: -torrent 24hours -play online games with stability -download without worrying packet loss -connect at the same speed anytime without worrying the 5~7pm and 10pm~12am busy hour (maxis wireless shares the same bandwidth as those 3g phone iianm) -uploading without worrying upload failure (due to slow upload speed) but if u prefer portability, maxis wireless is your choice.right now the speed is improving, and my fren said yesterday he was able to torrent some movies during the day, which means they didnt block the torrent.will confirm it tomoro. |
