For those who have poor battery issue on the 6/6+ (6+ especially), turn off auto brightness in Settings. It helps with the battery life. Remember not to set your screen brightness to full as well. Somewhere around 40-50% brightness should be enough.

QUOTE(slickz @ Nov 16 2014, 12:35 AM) That's certainly a possibility. There's another possibility in that the A8 processor can't run it at the same framerate as the 6. There's also the possibility where the 6+ needs more processing power to down-sample 1242x2208px (software resolution) to 1080x1920px (hardware resolution).Think about it, the same processor needs to work harder to push images to a 1080x1920 pixels vs 750x1334 screen. Of course the smaller screen would have performance left to spare. |

QUOTE(lisahasan @ Nov 16 2014, 06:49 PM) The older versions are the reason why your apps are still crashing... The crashes are fixed in the latest versions. Also, update to the latest iOS if you're not jailbreaking. Most of the time there are stability improvements in the latest version. |

QUOTE(heliora10 @ Nov 17 2014, 08:54 PM) been using the iPhone 6 for more than a week now, so far i'm not impressed with the battery life. To be honest battery life isn't the iPhone 6's strong point. Plus you're getting roughly 6 hours of usage based on your screenshot. That's considered pretty good for a 6 (not 6+). not really using it heavily and it's down to 20% in less than 10 hours. |

QUOTE(Townshend @ Nov 22 2014, 05:52 PM) Minecraft, Pixel Gun 3D - Nice games. I second Things. Do get it while it's free. Even when it's not on sale it's still worth every penny if you're a into light GTD that sort of thing.Things - $9.99 app but currently free on the App Store. SloPro - Allows you to record even slower video with your iPhone 6. Up to 1000fps. PhotoMath - Solve math questions using camera. Sketches - App for you to do sketches. Office Mobile - App to create document. Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Powerpoint - App to create document. And here's my list: 1. Evernote 2. Dropbox 3. Monument Valley (beautifully crafted puzzle game) 4. Mailbox 5. Unread (RSS client) |

QUOTE(hsyong @ Nov 22 2014, 08:13 PM) THINGS is good but I'm still using CLEAR... I love simple and gesture driven apps Oh yeah, definitely. I use Things for managing projects that require multiple steps. Whereas Clear is more suited for simple errands and such. Monument Valley was free for Android for a day, few days ago. Wonder if there will be a promotion for iOS |

QUOTE(lazybump_nonsense @ Nov 23 2014, 12:15 PM) Hey guys guys guys ... I just realized, my iPhone 6 space grey, there's a oval shape "thing" ,don't know what is that around the proximately sensor there ... Anyone using iPhone 6 space grey can check whether you Guys have it or not ? Not sure is it normal or what and note sure white one has it or not I have 2 small circle shapes around the highlighted part. One is the proximity sensor, the other one is an ambient light sensor I guess.I attached at photo. The blur blur thing is around that part. You can only see it with certain angle and with strong lighting. |

QUOTE(lazybump_nonsense @ Nov 23 2014, 12:36 PM) I know that two ... thats not what I mean ... It's an oval shape like thing ... Not the proximity sensor and ambient ... I not think that oval shape thing has a function for it -.- it's not dirt .. I can't clean it ... It connected from the edge of the phone to around proximity sensor there ... Oh, I don't have that then. Maybe it's some glue residue from the assembly process? The shape is exactly same like what I drew in the earlier attachments. |

QUOTE(meredere @ Nov 25 2014, 08:50 AM) Help me!!!I cant share photo in my Whatsapp. I have checked on the privacy setting ->photo -whatsapp = allowed. It seems that when i click the camera icon and click on photo gallery on the left, it didnt responded. Am i missing anything? This is my 1st time on ios. Previously anbroid user. Eh, it should work if you have WhatsApp allowed in both Camera and Photos under Privacy settings. Are you running the latest version of iOS and WhatsApp? Have you tried reinstalling? |

QUOTE(sinbad2k @ Nov 27 2014, 02:16 PM) Usually, techies or devs like "open" systems for them to tinker with. These are all tech talks basically and usually muggles doesn't understand its significance. Depending of what type of consumer you are, it may or may not be a + point for you. Having said that, I reckon it doesn't affect the majority of the owners. Exactly. Most people don't even understand the significance of open vs closed platform nor are they affected by it. It's just a buzzword to throw around in a discussion. |

QUOTE(keropi88 @ Nov 27 2014, 08:04 PM) May I ask , how come the reseller no stock but Apple online store got stock ? Where does the stock comes from Lol.Direct from Apple's factory. Apple's Factory > Apple Store/Online > Reseller. Of course Apple will prioritize their own stores in terms of stocks distribution. Resellers will most likely get their stocks in batches + in limited quantities from Apple. |

QUOTE(sinbad2k @ Nov 28 2014, 11:51 AM) My iPhone 6 & MacBook still can't see each other. I've no problems with safari and chrome though and in fact, I'm posting this from safari on my iPhone 6 with most words from word suggestions. Only Macs that are released in 2012 and after officially support AirDrop/Handoff/Continuity. For older Macs you need to enable it using this: https://github.com/dokterdok/Continuity-Activation-Tool/ |

QUOTE(Boykidz93 @ Nov 30 2014, 03:29 PM) I think this time digi plan is just nice, 2GB data + free talk time + sms = RM50 commitment, you take outside plan, 2GB data how much already? Not to mention Digi RM50 plan is only tied to 12 months contract. Since you're going to need a data plan anyway, might as well go for a subsidized unit at a telco. Then they give subsidize for phone, its a bonus... Of course if you hate DIGI, everything is wrong for DIGI then even give you unlimited data also not worth... |
