Just spoke to the Apple Support online, it seems that there is no more 1 to 1 exchange in Malaysia
And it is called Express Replacement and one should pay for full amount for deposit of the new device and deposit will be refunded once they receive the old device Express Replacement seems not available in Malaysia |

QUOTE(breonwei @ Nov 25 2014, 02:44 PM) That's what I thought initially but I have verified in iTunes & my iPhone 4, no such issue... my iphone 6 is running on TLC manufactured on WW45 which is same manufacturing date with yoursWill continue to monitor, hopefully its not TLC issue, though im not sure if mine is TLC or MLC... Manufactured on Nov 3 - 11. |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Nov 25 2014, 04:28 PM) Mine 6 Plus 64GB is TLC I don't have issue with boot loop or apps crashing as well.so far no issue ... yet. There is a post several pages back, no need j/b, but installing from unknown/unverified source. Take your own risk! Post #920 I deal with Sandisk or Micron manufacturing for MLC and TLC, their products is pretty stable, firmware could fix the issues for boot loop |

QUOTE(sonic_sphere @ Nov 25 2014, 07:29 PM) Hey babyk, looks like u are also did some research and exploration on this NAND prob. I also do because i found its a serious issue and its really attract me to get more info other than any other issue such as bend gate etc... Good for u! Please share more update on this... Oh well, all the memory devices be it NAND or NOR, if there is no physically wrong with the memory, all the issues could be fixed with a firmware to use different approach of writing and reading method. This is why Apple is releasing the new 8.1 or 8.1.1 to fix the issue |

QUOTE(KaiHD @ Nov 26 2014, 02:20 AM) nope. my 6+ 128GB is toshiba tlc chip. no problems so far. (it's approaching one month old already) The problem is you haven't use any application that activates the TLC, once you have TLC activated application, you might face issues[attachmentid=4233045] If you are running on 8.1 or 8.1.1, you won't see any issues |
