Bought a chromecast last night, work wonderfully with the Z3 eventhough lots of complaining at xda forums. Now can watch my illegally downloaded movies on the big screen smile.gif

Not sure if it's me or else but I feel like Z Ultra's X-Reality engine is better than other Z series.
*
Depends.

I notice 720p movie with sharpening on ZU make it look good but if only got 480p movies it look much worse than other devices.

Second day in service center. No call from them.

Miss my phone la. Now have to spend a weekend without a smartphone.

You guys got carry a second smartphone? Any recommendation for cheap and big screen smartphone with UI similar to Sony UI. I borrow my friend cheap Lenovo phone, UI not nice at all.
*
Zenfone 5 or moto g. Both are quite stock, fast & responsive but cheap.

I used to carry zenfone, but just ordered a moto g for
Value basket. Hope it don't get conned.

Moto G 2013 or 2014?

How much you are paying for it?
*
Moto g 2013 dual sim 16gb, I'm with Erica and lots of folks which not impressed by the gen2. I'll pay 457 with free shipping for it. But someone say could get it for 500 @ plaza lowyat. Or could get the lte version for 600.

I think Satu gadget is selling ori xperia e1 for 200 only. If u are planning on xperia m2 or e3 may I suggest going for z ultra?

thinking about z3... so far any annoying problem for this device ? im currently using note 2
I need last longer battery... and durable phone for 2 years
*
Other than the small internal storage and lacks of any gimmicky features. so far, I don't have any complaints about it. And I do always find fault with devices, i think it's even faster and less stuttering and buggy than an "i" device.

May I know how long does Z3 need to get fully charged?
Does it have quick charging feature?
*
From qualcomm website, the Z3 series is certified for quick charging 2.0.

I had no idea, I changed whenever possible, some say 3 hours with normal charger, not sure about the turbo charger. But with an iPad charger is doing notice the lower your battery the faster it charge.

I think the xperia s laggyness is more because of the processor than ram. After the s, I have xperia v, t2, zenfone 4,4.5, & 5 as well as Moto g. But none are as laggy as the s.

Dont worry, experience is part of a work that brings you to success.
I was given sales target also but I barely able to hit it due to weak outlet.
I only gone through 2 stages. First with agent, 2nd with Sony Malaysia managing directors. When I mentioned that I had exploited my Z Ultra which I brought along for the interview (was running GPE rom that time), it gave them a surprise. Then I got the job.
Majority promoters that worked at the fair are part timers. It's easier to mess with them. Working with a brand requires you to know well about your product, not to sell blindly.
But if my job, sometimes need to compare side by side with other brands. When it comes to fruitphone, I bash it indirectly.

What's funny is, when fruitphone users bash android lags in front of me, I will tell them that iOS isn't perfect neither. And I like to bring up the bending issue, as I have seen some in repair shops.
*
I can attest that my fruitphones and the fruitspad is lagging and aren't as smooth as the Z3.

I think most likely fruits fan say when they try android is to try Samsung. And Samsung is seriously lagging, even in YouTube u could see S5 can't even kept up with the moto E

Hands down imos Corning. They come abit pricey but worth every penny.

If budget is ur cocncern, nilkin momax or anything else in that bracket. If u ask me they don't differ much from one another.

Get a proper glass protector. They offer better security. Those nano coating offerings are just coating. Wears off quickly regardless of brands.
*
Actually I was thinking on applying those nano coating on the glass sp itself. Boleh ke?

Currently I used chepo mocollo coz I always scratch the SP, so I now used cheap SP and replace it when scratch.

Actually it is depend on luck.
But i admit that, Sony waterproof is not that so good. But i believe it work at 80%+.
You can read a lot of negative comments because most peoples will just diam diam when there is no problem.
And i believe most peoples didn't use it in water.

But the decision is on yours.
*
i take pictures underwater since xperia v and never encounter any problems, but I dont do it often, as i see no point in it and that the backglass is glued in, and they removed the back by heating it. problems is our country is so hot, i scared the back glass glue may be compromised

It's an airtight glue, not normal 3M glue.
Normally heat won't spread to the areas where the adhesive is but given the weather in Malaysia, I can say it will last a year.
*
I think I would fell much better if they do nano coating like the moto g, at least if water manage to get in, it won't get short circuited. But I still bring it into hot spring twice and it still ok.

Anyway where is the moist detector paper on the z3 located, I don't seem to notice it.

No way you can survive longer with nano coating. Remember, it will rust too.
Btw, I think I shared it at previous version thread. Lemme check.

EDIT : I found it. It's at your nano SIM tray. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry70889174
*
OMG. I thought that was the reset button!!!! I cucuk it so many times with pen when my Z3 refused to turn on.

The yellow button is the reset button. laugh.gif
You need to remove the tray to access it.
*
Nasib baik power + volume up button work to reset the phone.

Anyway anyone know a good place to repair phone, I used a nano sim adapter on my moto g, then forcefully replace with normal Microsim and now the sim stuck.

My cousin's Z3 was tested on the spot before made the payment.
She also used the phone underwater 2-3 times before the mist went inside the camera.

My speaker is still 80% volume after dipped with water. Already 10 days.
*
french kiss the speaker, then wipe it with wet tissues whistling.gif
dip in water, kocak kocak in water
put the speaker under running water
kocak kocak some more i side water
wipe with dry tissues
wait few hours dont used, dry under a/c
wipe out with soft cloth

that what i did b4, when my upper speaker are lauder then the bottom, me thinks some kind of impurity like salt, mineral or sabun melekat at the speaker membrane . now no more washing phone with sabun
