2) uob called you back to confirm you have been removed from their marketing sms
3) one day later, you received the marketing sms again

or do you mean (1) and (3) only?

i am cheated by this uob promotion
there was a promotion if u spend more than 10k within 1/10/14-31/11/14
u will get a coffee marker for the 1st 500 spender

my transaction hit 10k on the 1st week it self.

please dont tell me more than 500 ppl hit 10k in just a few day. unless the buying power of malaysian suddenly become so good in that few day.

uob really cannot be trusted. i had called the CS, said my name is not in the winner list

if i have use amex, i will have get cash value about rm 200( 5x point) + rm50 for weekend = rm250.

n their petrol rebate only up to day 10 of the month

Quite pissed off. I called them but they do not want to give a waiver for the GST.

This very normal for new application..
Waived 1st year...to get u in...then more card "free" for u..

Wait until next year u will be back here asking why charge u annual, gst,  can it waive etc question......zzzz
