QUOTE(ate @ Jun 8 2015, 10:19 AM) the new UOB Vox card has paywave function, i think it was introduced last year. the old version did not have it, i purposely called them to issue me the new version just to enjoy the GSC Paywave promo last year.QUOTE(sms2u @ Jun 8 2015, 11:39 AM) Paywave is still new and bank may choose to implement on new card. the limit is RM250As I can recall VOX CC is newer than ONE CC. Paywave very hard to use? Paywave is convenient if you make purchase with amount less than RM150 because no signature required. U do not need to pass the cc to cashier. Only selected merchance have the device to accept payware cc (aeon big, aeon, coffee bean, etc). |

QUOTE(sms2u @ Jun 9 2015, 12:06 PM) Where did know the limit is RM250? I believe u got this info from visa brochure. sorry, i remembered incorrectly. it should be 150I had tested by make payment with paywave for amount of RM150, no signature required. But, when I pay amount of RM200 with paywave for amount of RM200, signature is required. Also, pls refer to visa website Is there a limit on the value of the transaction with Visa payWave technology? In Malaysia, you can use your Visa payWave-enabled card for purchases of up to RM150 per transaction. No signature or PIN is required. http://www.visa.com.my/merchants/accepting...ywave_faqs.html Anyone try to swipe amount RM150 above with paywave and do not require signature? |

QUOTE(bananalow @ Jun 28 2015, 09:59 PM) I believe UOB vox almost have similiar benefit compare to CIMB CR mastercard. UOB Vox can get 5% cash rebate on air ticket purchase while CIMB CR cannot. certain MCCs don't fall under Posmode 81, you will end up getting 0.2% rebate only. for example Groupon SG, you need to use Paypal to make payment then only 5% rebate will be givenIf I compare this two card, I found out CIMB CR card is better than UOB vox if involve the transaction below: TM/TNB bills- 2% cashback via SI with CIMB CR compare to 0.3% cashback from UOB vox Astro- I believe both entitled 5% cashback if make payment in their website So, I can say CIMB CR still better right for above transaction? Did I miss anything? This post has been edited by nothingz: Jun 29 2015, 09:37 AM |

UOB Vox RM6 per month can be waived if you call, by the time you say you want to cancel, they will waive the RM6 for you for few years just like me.
now i am not concerned whether i have at least 1 transaction per statement cycle |

QUOTE(mamamia @ Jul 16 2015, 08:30 AM) anyone use this the airasiago UOB 10% discount before? how to apply the 10% discount code? I didn't see any way to fill in the discount code in payment section: the same discount code can be used at expedia, no difference. the field of the discount code is at the page where you fill in your contact details, at the middle of the pagewww.airasiago.com.my/uob |

QUOTE(pisces88 @ Jul 29 2015, 11:49 PM) hi, if online buy movie tickets gsc/tgv, still can get 5% rebate right? yes most likely provided the amount swiped is at least RM50. i dont use VOX card for online tickets because RHB EVO card can get 20% rebate on online purchase/on the spot purchaseand the Rm6 monthly fee will be waived as long as swipe 1 time? even rm10 petrol? No fee if you swipe at least once in every statement cycle at any amount. the last time i threaten to cancel my card, they waived 2 or 3 years of monthly fees for me, now i dont need to keep track on it This post has been edited by nothingz: Jul 30 2015, 08:56 AM |
