I just realised all the cash rebates % drop and pharmaceutical cash rebate was removed... UOB looks so not attractive now... damn it.
*
the only advantage from this revision is that petrol pump after 13th to the end of the month will get 2%+2% (weekdays) and 5%+2% (weekends) at bhp. so it's the best card to be used for weekdays for 4% cb at bhp now.

Then last time we already had this 2% smart$ before the revision. I don't see the advantage in it, more like a downgrade because last time is applicable to everyday and now we need to wait till 13th - end of the month.

UOB disappoints me as the privilege is getting lesser.
*
no, last time is 5%+2% everyday but with a monthly cb allocation of rm900k which usually finished by 13th every month. so with this revision, although it's lower cb for weekdays (2%+2%) but at least there's no more rm900k allocation and you can safely get the cb anytime after 13th.

and now with mbb2amex cutting its 5% weekends cb, uob will grab their weekends share as well with 5%+2% at bhp.

Sorry, did I missed out something, what do you mean by the 13th?
I though that is for the entire month, weekend 5% and weekdays 2%?
*
the 13th rules was before revision. after revision, no more.

QUOTE(kwong02 @ Jun 26 2015, 05:42 PM)
with new revised T&C,weekend petrol 5% is apply only at bhp or all petrol station ?
*
5% is to all, but 5%+2% is to bhp only.

just saw the fees for one card and vox (one card rm 72 per year and vox rm 6 + but waived if swipe once a month on any amount).. face palm.. the annual fees probably make your rebate card not so "rebate" already

I was so disappointed with UOB. Last month I had to go to overseas for working purpose, so I requested only RM1000 temporary limit increase but they rejected. Every month I paid my cc without failed, minimum payment of RM100 something but I normally pays RM700 - RM1500 every month. With tiny limit of RM5500 what can you do in overseas?
*
why they rejected your request? what's the reason you gave when requesting?

Ya, I told them I really need my limit increase to book my hotel and travel cost. I didn't asked why they rejected, since last year the promoter points out that UOB easily approve temporary limit increase, I put high expectation on them. Now I found out that I need to transfer all my balance to other bank.

My annual income more than enough to get Gold card, don't know why they approve such ridiculous amount for me
*
have you tried applying for permanent credit limit increase?

Errr I thought UOB One Card forever free of annual fee. Only Vox needs to swipe once per month to waive the monthly fee...
*
no, uob one is not forever free. you need to call in to request for waiver and it depends on approval.

Dear victorywp, I think you should update the first post to include annual fee information already notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
actually i don't put because they don't have a fixed annual fee for it...

QUOTE
11.8 You must pay an annual fee for the Credit Card (including any supplementary Credit Cards) when the Credit Card is issued or renewed. The annual fee will be decided by us at any time, and will be debited to your Credit Card Account when due, and is not refundable. If no such annual fee is payable, we can impose a service fee instead, which will be decided by us at any time, and will be debited to your Credit Card Account. The annual/service fee will bear interest at the rate of 18% per annum (or such other rate as we may specify at any time) until paid in full, and the provisions relating to capitalisation of Finance Charges in Clause 11.5 will apply.

- Platinum = RM178.08 (RM168 x 6%)

- Annual Fee waived for first (1st) two (2) years.
For subsequent years, Annual Fee is waived automatically according to the following card spending* structure:
• 100% waiver for annual spending RM24,000 and above.
• 75% waiver for annual spending RM18,000 and above.
• 50% waiver for annual spending RM12,000 and above.
• 25% waiver for annual spending RM6,000 and above.

- Refer to first page for rebate

or you can refer link
*
the af may be used as a reference.
but not for the af waiver.
because the af waiver is refer to commercial card not credit card.

anyway, based on this information, i have included the af to all uob cc at post #1 as per suggested by Prodigenous Zee earlier.

UOB ONE Card petrol rebate no more cap at RM900,000?
i remember last time got cap at RM900,000 for whole Malaysia right ?
*
yeah, good news is they revised since 1/6 with no more 900k cap. but bad news is they revised the weekdays cashback too, with petrol/gsc 2% and grocery/telco 1%, others 0.2%, pharmacy 0%.

looks like the cap for uob one is based on monthly spending, not monthly cashback. for example for petrol, maximum rm500 for plat can get cashback either rm25 (if spend on weekends) or rm10 (if spend on weekdays).

Can you explain more?
*
means it's capped based on your spending. if you spend that max rm500 fully on weekdays, you only get rm10 cashback for the month.

UOB vox seems like a good alternative card to pay utility bills online for 5% CB- TNB, unifi, telekom, astro, cukai tsksiran , water bill , hotel booking  etc
*
but all those are not online spending, those are online payments which not entitled for the 5%...
