Just would like to confirm that is the online account will be unavailable once my cancellation request has success??

Currently called to cancelled and CS said wait for 5 working days to call back from another team
*
the other team who will call you back will offer you something to retain you. you may ask them about your online account availability after cancellation, if you still wish to terminate your cc.

Just got charge my first annual fee this month after 2 years using UOB One Plat.
Called up CS to ask for waiver and the guy told me to call me back after 3 working days to check whether waiver is approved.
Is this normal practice? What are my chances or getting the annual fee waived?
*
chances of getting waiver for af recently is almost 100%. don't worry...

Last year, I had similar experience.... for my UOB one card...UOB refused to waive even though I dared to cancel...in the end bargain for discount...got 50% off
as for visa preferred platinum, use uniringgit rewards redemption to waive....
ish...what do you say to them to get higher chances for waiver?
*
in fact last year is really harder to get waiver. but this year is different, everyone get waiver for af. i even got waiver for my rm50 gst charged in march. lol...

Why they use the phrase "up to" for weekdays? hmm.gif
*
i think it mainly affects petrol cb. "up to" means weekends and weekdays highest cb is now 5% and 2% respectively. other categories is all the while lesser than that.

Confirmed with one CS that the RM900K allocation for petrol rebate will be removed. However we still need additional confirmation from other CS.
*
logically speaking, after they took away 60% (5% become 2%) x 5 days (weekdays) petrol cb, the cb they saved supposedly be able to cover until end of month (from existing +-13th).

QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 20 2015, 10:57 PM)
this evening uob cs called telling me that i'm not in the winner list for week 5 and week 8. i scolded them and complained again. now they put my cashback request for management approval.
*
QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 22 2015, 12:56 AM)
that's why i suspect week 5 and week 8 winner list has nobody in it... until you call to complain. i think uob just randomly removed a few weeks cashback allocation thinking that nobody would know.
*
QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 27 2015, 01:34 PM)
no news for my week 5 and week 8...  mad.gif  vmad.gif  sad.gif  cry.gif

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 1 2015, 06:31 PM)
cs said one week give me one week don't. sad.gif

my statement shows:
23apr 20% cashback campaign - cc visa (week 8) 100.00cr
27apr 20% cashback campaign 100.00cr

earlier told me only received week 8 but week 5 didn't get.
but now from statement shows that i received another one which didn't mention the week.
so that means uob management approved it for my week 5. brows.gif

conclusion:
i received all week 1, week 2, week 5, week 6, week 7, week 8, week 9, week 10 which i joined.
only week 3 and week 4 i didn't join.

wah, so many questions...
buy cash vouchers or gift cards, usually in between 10am to 12pm, not near, everybody knows.
no, i don't think so. but for 10 weeks still ok. i can buy in advance since cash vouchers can last 1 year.

i not really understand the contest. correct me if wrong.
1. AEON consider hypermarket?

2. this 11MAY morning, i will go AEON CS buy AEON voucher rm500.
i will get UOB CB rm50.

3. if i buy rm600 or more voucher, i will only get CB rm50.

4. if buy rm499, get nothing?

5. if i buy rm3000 voucher, i will get CB rm900. since if 3k=CB 30%

6. if buy rm2999, how CB get?
*
the campaign i joined earlier was different than this.
the previous one is 20% on hypermarket, departmental, dining, etc. and it is more straight forward than this.
this new one i'm not joining, so didn't read much of its t&c. lol...
