Its about the lens. Not the body.

Do you like the EF lens? And the price?

Price i think 7DmarkII is a bit higher than 6D.

I do agree its about the lens but I think I have enough lens for now. Got prime and telephoto edi.

If u take this two as comparison. then is lot diff about fps. do u plan to shoot anything fast or for sport?

coz it is 4.5fps vs 10fps

What type of photography you are taking?

Cause both camera has very different purpose.

6D is mean for slow object, landscape, potrait, mount on tripod
and also its only has 9 AF point

7D Mkiii, the fps is almost 2x 6d has
AF point also got a lot more than 6D

But both cam is totally different in the sense of Lens
EFS lens cant use on FF
EF lens can use on APSC

I mostly do potrait and landscape. Fast moving photos, rarely.

But the sensor for 7dMarkII is latest one. But is it better? Some review say that not much improvement

Depends on you, 7d is crop sensor equivalent to 1.6x crop
but it doesnt matter, Lens for Crop sensor cannot use for FF sensor

But base on what you said, you should just go for 6D if thats the only 2 choice.
but be ware EF lens aka L lens is very freaking expensive

6D for you.

Best camera I've ever used. AF won't be as good as 7D, but good enough for portraits and landscape.

The high ISO performance will knock the 7D out of the water.

But keep in mind full frame lens prices etc.

Its 7D mark2 that TS wants to know about. I've seen reviews saying that the the 7D Mark2 ISO is so much better than the 7D mk1. Which makes me curious to see how close the ISO of 7Dmk2 is to the 6D. Right I have not seen any reviews comparing the 7D mk2 to the Canon FF cameras yet.

Its still a very new camera so not much full detailed reviews about it yet.

IMO, with current technology, APS-C sensors will never beat FF sensors even with heavy NR because of physics and how current sensors are designed.

That's because the 7D I iso performance is bad, so the new one looks much better in comparison. There will still be a stop or more difference between a FF and APSC.
