HI all,

Just have 1 question for Avast expert here (as well as other AV expert) (oops, AV... tongue.gif )

Heard about Alemod.f(latest version of this trojan)? Just curious that if Avast able to detect and block this trojan from coming into our system. In fact this is quite a strong one, the sympton of it is you lost nearly all the icon/task bar on your screen, lost all the connection to internet. And if you tried to disable system restore, you can't turn it on back forever.

So far, I knew that most of the antivirus can only remove the Alemod.e, but not. and for mcafee virus scan, it can't even block alemod.f from infect the computer, and after detect it via scan, can't delete it at all even in safemode doh.gif .

Quite scare about this one, so jsut wonder if Avast do the job... ... rolleyes.gif

Yeah I found that one too... Just wish this trojan doesn't attack our region (I notice it mostly active on Australia)

No doubt, not denying that. But then, many AV companies rate virus outbreaks according to region... How do you account for that?... My opinion...
